1. Saw Mohammed Ali fight in Superdome vs Leon Spinks to regain Heavy weight championship. My seats were so high in the dome the boxing ring looked like a matchbox. But hey I was there.
2. LSU vs Florida 2007 Brought my wife who graduated from Ohio State to her first LSU game... Greatest game I ever seen an definitely was hers too. Tiger Stadium at its best...

You say how much a better coach PJis than Coach O. Really what has PJ Fleck won ???? You dog Coach O every chance you get. What does coach O have. A national championship by putting together a coaching staff, transfer players, players he recruited and a team considered as one of the best ever. A perfect season. So again I say what does PJ have. A row your boat quote. Yea go for it Tenn !!

The obvious factor in the comparison is not one team Ala played was even close to 100% full capacity. I would say on average maybe 80% of players available due to Corona virus. Besides that we could on all day about the weakest SEC competition in years,just look at any defense in the entire league, no fans, No home field advantage We could go on and on. But I will give credit. That Ala team was a great team loaded with talent and deserved the championship. Congrats to them!!
But not the best team ever and definetly not better than what LSU did in 2019 in a normal college football season !!!

I would agree that it is an old term. However there have been many post across Tiger Rant that were listing who the Blue bloods were in college football. So I do believe there are modern blue bloods and you would have to include LSU !! Just wondering how others view blue bloods ??

There are 6 active college coach's that have won National Championships.
Nick Saban
Mack Brown
Les Miles
Jimbo Fisher
Dabo Swinney
Ed Oregon

Three of those coaches won National Championships at LSU !!
An Actually the last 3 coaches at LSU have won National Championships. The other two Jimbo and Mack both coached at LSU and went on to win national championships at Fla.St. and Texas. So that is 5 out of 6 of the active National champions coach"s that have won National Championships. 80% !!!! So to continue LSU has 4 national championships. Played in 5 national championships games and won 4 ! 3 championships in last 20 yrs
No other team in college football besides Alabama has won that many championships in last 20 yrs. Therefore, I submit LSU is a blue blood !!
