no one said he was a backup after you beat bama.

That sounds a lot like Lincoln Riley.
re: Next HC … Offense or Defense?

honestly i’m fine with either. as long as it’s someone who has lots of experience scheming and calling one side of the ball and has a good idea of who to hire for the other side of the ball.
re: How much RPO are we running?

you clearly don’t understand what an RPO is
re: How long of a leash does Clark get?
Posted by lsudrummer1989 on 9/25/21 at 8:03 am
apparently an entire season and 3 games worth of leash.
re: Max Johnson leading the SEC in passing TD's

did you watch any LSU football in 2019? there were quite a few 50/50 balls that season too.
re: What is your summary of changes observed last night?

i noticed a couple of things that were encouraging:
(1) more tempo - we didn’t allow the D to check, especially on 2nd and 3rd and short/medium
(2) more playing time for freshman who are obviously better then their ‘veteran’ counterparts, ie. d. smith, bech, m. smith, kiner. they need to be starters from here on out in my opinion.
(3) actual offensive adjustments to what the defense what showing throughout the game. we took shots downfield when the matchup presented it. we ran RPOs in great spots.
overall there were several things that were encouraging.

re: Can we all declare that LSU’s 2019 season was a fluke?
Posted by lsudrummer1989 on 9/6/21 at 2:33 pm
my favorite part about all of these ‘lsu sucks now’ or ‘2019 was a fluke’ posts is that they are started by a&m fans. your program literally has done nothing. the only fans i wanna hear anything from are bama fans.

which school has a title since Jimbo started at A&M? hmmmmmm…
re: Numbers that jump out about this LSU football team’s offense
Posted by lsudrummer1989 on 8/23/21 at 11:19 am
stats from scrimmages mean literally nothing. go look a joe’s scrimmage numbers before 2019.
the only stats i care about are 3rd conversions, red zone touchdown rate, and turnovers.

re: What games scares you the most and why?

Two games really stand out to me:
UCLA and Kentucky.
UCLA - it being the first game, out west, with so many unknowns. we have new play callers. first games like that always scare me.
Kentucky - two reasons - 1 where this game is at in the schedule, 2 they are a tough out at home and i think they will be solid next year on both sides of the ball.
