fournette was not the guy his freshman year- running backs have a lot more responsibility than they do in highschool. this dead horse has been beat many times over the years.

Before the season, someone posted last year a link to some guy that uses all these metrics to rate coaches and predicted our defense would be very bad based on our defensive staff.

so on pace for under 200 walks this year vs 300+ last year if math is correct and they throw around the same number of innings as last year.
correlation does not equal causation but thats a big difference.
hope we see better pitching next year.

An aggie diehard told me they were happy when he left. his specific complaint was they walked too many batters when he was the coach. would be interesting to compare walks this year and last year for both teams.
