Lovely to see Everton making a statement about the referees. I wonder why Tottenhams board have made sure our social media team don’t make any statements? Hmm
Ours are too busy trying to win social media content awards than actually understanding what is happening on the pitch.

just know what i witnessed in LL at 12u couple years ago. was overall terrible. i could be wrong though. but you would have to go back to 200 or 220' max field size to allow kids to have a chance to hit a HR if you did that.
Yea, unfortunately the only fixes would change the game. You try to walk that fine line between better safety and still preparing the kids for higher levels without changing the game too much. The bat game is out of control though, maybe there can be some pull back between USA and the current bats. So much money in pushing these bats.
Just curious what age and division did this happen at?

by slow i mean as in action. less hits, for much of AA ball it would make the outfield pointless. and yea the bloop throw the barrel out hits suck but is what it is
I disagree, I sit through aa games every weekend and coached 11u/12u rec ball. Outfield was very relevant with USA bats at 12u and it’s a much higher level at AA ball. 10u and under maybe but I really think USA bats are the best option if bats really need to be changed. Not saying they do. These injuries have always been a part of baseball unfortunately, but I do think USA bats would be an easy fix, but so much money is tied into the youth bat industry. I doubt we see any changes.

so i feel you, and honestly the caliber of players that are on your team and ours...it would be fine. but the problem is for 90% plus of the teams out there, yea that sucks all of the fun out the game and makes the games terribly slow. and doing that for a freak accident. at some point we cant legislate every risk out.
How would it make the game slow? Less hits/offense would speed up the game. Some of the hits I see on half swings would be easy line drive outs with a USA bat.
I’ll take it! Good result for us to stay within 1 match.
Palace looks sluggish and hungover, hoping for at worst a draw. That would keep up just 2 pts back.
True, seems like the league wants the ratings boost for the Championship in 2027

This team is cursed
This ref is itching to send someone off in the second half.

Fabrizio Romano] Guglielmo Vicario is expected to leave Tottenham this summer. Conversations between Inter Milan and Vicario have been positive. Vicario is focused on helping Spurs out as much as possible before the summer window, but he is ready to return to Italy regardless
Can’t believe we are relying on Kinsky in the short term with so much at stake. At least he will have a chance at redemption.
This club stole my sense of humor, oddly enough this entire fiasco has been morbidly entertaining. Not gonna lie I’ve been more in tune with everything Spurs the past few months than at any point in the last 20 years even during the best of seasons. No clue what that says about me but I’m sure I’m not alone in this.
Oh by the way Vicario had his surgery, have we seen the last of him? Amazing timing, with 7 matches left. You can’t make this stuff up.

We are in trouble boys. Too committed with Tudor with only 7 matches left to make a change. The last 3 matches other then the second half yesterday gives me some hope we can still do enough to stay up. Hope is all we have at this point. ENIC deserves relegation but the fans don’t. My son committed how cool the pre-match crowd looked yesterday. Sad the fans have to deal with this BS.
Louisiana Lightning says hi; produced the best MLB pitcher in Louisiana history in Ron Guidry.
3rd place finish at the CWS; one of the three schools in the state that have held a consensus #1 ranking in season.
Tony Robichaux is the all-time winningest college baseball coach in Louisiana state history, accumulating 1,177 wins (914 at UL)
One of the best non p4 stadiums in college baseball.
…….and we just won our world series, the parade is gonna be off the charts this year!

My worst fear is Frank doing just enough for people to start to think he deserves a 2nd season
I think Frank deserves to finish out the season and see where we are at. Champions league results warrant that; with our injuries what manager would do any better right now. You are seeing an immediate impact with the return of Solanke and inserting Gallagher. If Poch is an option next year then it makes sense as well.
No one has the patience to build anything these days. However I’m most disappointed in the transfer situation. We need players!!!

Daniels was an obvious jackpot and he deserves credit for that, but who would be the second biggest transfer get?
Wasn’t obvious to most on here.

CFP aside LSU should be embarrassed that it has not yet shown it can compete in the NIL era meanwhile Tulane is likely going to the CFP with a coach it was just paying $1 million not to mention a NY6 win a couple years ago.

Surely you don’t believe Tulane can line up tomorrow and beat any of those teams.
For the money spent on Tulane’s program it’s safe to say the Green Wave NIL donors are getting their money’s worth. No one is saying Tulane would be winning the SEC, but dollar for dollar you gotta be happy supporting that program.
Congrats Tulane!
