It’s remarkable how many bad takes you have. You’re saying a lazily thrown together RB&R in a crockpot is going to be the same as a carefully constructed RB&R that uses quality ingredients like smoked ham hocks and good sausage? Absolute clown take.

Things I’ve added in the past that have absolutely led to noticeable improvement include smoked ham hocks, leftover ham from Christmas chopped up, and smoked turkey legs. I use the ham hocks and some type of ham every time along with sausage. I’ve only done the turkey legs once and twice but liked the result.

For the smoked ham hocks and turkey legs I let them simmer for a while then pull them out and pick the meat off the bone to add back. The ham breaks down and shreds with the long simmer and adds great flavor.

Shelby Farms Park is actually a pretty nice place. Right next to Germantown which is generally a fairly affluent area as far as Memphis goes. But Memphis gonna Memphis.

This should result in an immediate ban from the F&D board.
