I know this will get frowned own, but about 10 years ago my wife and kids approached me about getting an in-ground pool. I didn't want one because of the install and maintenance cost and I knew they wouldn't use it as much as they were saying when they was trying to sell me on the idea. So, I told them I would agree to get a above ground pool that's made to be sunk into the ground 2 feet and we can put a deck around it to make it look nice. All of that was 1/4 of the cost to install an in-ground pool.

Looking back, I'm glad I stood my ground and went that route because since it's been installed, it only get used about 2-3 times a year. It's just a big arse, expensive water feature. I'm getting to the point of wanting to tear it out and getting some dirt hauled in.

Lane is trying to prove a point that he can kick Ole Miss arse with his second team :lol:

The older I get, the more I'm in line with the thinking I'll be happier with a smaller house, less stuff, and be retired and doing the things that makes me happy versus working my arse off constantly trying to maintain this upper middle class lifestyle.

I'm invested in several of these and like others, I've been very concerned about the NAV erosion over the past couple of months. Based on what I've been reading online, the split will basically be cosmetic in nature and you won't lose any value that you own and your dividend payouts will remain the same. Yes, you'll end up with less share, but YieldMax will be resetting the price point to stabilize the NAV. So, it seems like to me, if you're thinking about getting out of any of these ETFs, you should do it after the split once the price is raised.

If this is the process for re-stabilizing the NAV after it has eroded, I don't see why someone wouldn't stay in and grab these dividends if YieldMax is just going to reset the price point? If I'm missing something here, someone please explain it to me.
