do not understand why the nation's leaders don't say this:

"If you have the vaccine, good for you. Do whatever you please. If you do not, that is a risk and choice that you decided to take and you can live with the consequences. We provided all the avenues to get you vaccinated and did our part in helping you. We are moving on and conducting business as usual before COVID."

Because they have been told to get shots in every arm, no matter what.

Who told them all this? And who told that person? That's the billion dollar question.

should I start with schools killing 120 years of tradition for media money through conference realignment or the copying the NFL GameDay model to the T or the absurd coaching salaries that are now paid or the hundreds of millions of dollars being put into football facilities?

100% agree that the students didn't start this and the blame is on everyone who supported what you're talking about. BUT, two "wrongs" don't make a right.

And yes, in the context of amateur college sports, these latest developments are wrong in that they are antithetical.

Transfer portal, waivers, and NIL are all terrible things. Should have never even cracked open those doors.

But we had to, don't you see? We couldn't allow the continued abuse of those scholarship athletes who freely chose their situation.

Free college, food, training, housing, and all the fun that comes along with it? That's torture.
The country is openly being given away by our leaders, with the support of half of the people, though at least half of those don't understand it.

Again, they are ending America and stealing our birthright. Openly and unapologetically.

Yep...they are bumping the PCR testing threshold back up to 40+ as we speak.

Please tell me this isn't true.
Yes. This is similar to the all of the BLM stuff and the political shenanigans of the last few years in that it is about dehumanization. Getting us all to see each other as subhuman so that we object less when bad things happen to other people.

I think we need a miracle to pull us out of this.
COVID yesterday, COVID today, COVID tomorrow, COVID forever!

We can dream.

I think they're a lot more willing to kill Americans than they ever were to kill Afghans and Iraqis. These people are sick.

Answers the question: What's the worst reason in the world to put on a bunch of weight?

There is no significant threat to anyone now. If you want a vaccine, get the vaccine. Boom.... problem solved. Forcing more people to vaccinate, especially children is out of pressure from somewhere. I suspect that big pharma sees an unending stream of money and is pressuring the current administration to push for everyone to get their product.

The CDC is STILL discouraging the use of Ivermectin, flat out lying to people that it is dangerous. There is no doubt that there is a global conspiracy to get as many people vaccinated as possible. They're downplaying alternative treatments and overhyping the remaining danger from the virus.

It's incomprehensible.

. I know the principals are in a stuff spot.

The Priests who wanted to offer Sacraments last spring were in a tough spot, too.

Life is damn tough spot for everyone lately.

Where is the moral courage from our supposed leaders? Why is everyone so afraid of these Bishops?

Exactly zero people have injected doses of Covid into themselves.

Not the (mild) virus itself, just the bioengineered spike protein which causes inflammation and death in some people.

Treating the unvaccinated students different than the vaccinated ones is what pisses me off.

The kids are at an age where they are easily influenced by their peers and their self esteems are tied to acceptance.

My children will have to wear a mask, and I promise you that they will be ridiculed by the non-mask wearing kids.

These despicable motherfrickers (excuse my language, but it's warranted) are going to cause division among their OWN flock of children, teaching them to look at each other as unclean outcasts. It's sickening. Down with these POS Bishops.
As a committed Catholic, I have to say that the Catholic Church has embarrassed itself from day 1 of this pandemic.

At a time where Christianity is counter-culture, a situation which demands the faithful either be courageous or be swept up into the culture, our shepherds are modeling cowardliness. Shame on them.

WHO? HOW could they have done this without anyone spilling the beans?

You might ask that question, but the extremely disconcerting truth appears to be that there is no one left with any authority to whom one could "spill the beans".

We see proof, and it's ignored. People are threatened for talking about it. The DOJ is being used to harass people into prison or silence.

I'm just praying for some conversions to happen.
Phones come either "unlocked", in which case they'll work with any carriers SIM card or they are locked to Verizon or AT&T or etc etc.

If you buy it unlocked, you can pop the sim in and it will work. The link you provided was for a factory unlocked phone, so it will work with AT&T.

Can't speak on the insurance question.

You just can't get them anymore, but they haven't made me switch.

I hate giving it up, but that's probably irrational.

Old AT&T plans

Anybody else still have a mobile shared data plan? I have a 30gb plan, and we never go over.

Ive been stubbornly holding onto it for years, but am thinking of giving it up to take advantage of deals that only come with unlimited plans.

What would you do? Is there any good reason not to move to unlimited?

“Doomed from the womb”.

So when that child grows up and behaves in a similar manner, will we have sympathy for her or we will say "typical trash" and write her off?

Do we have sympathy now for the mother?

Either parenting matters or it doesn't.
