This slow start offensively is brutal. You’ve dug a hole already you might not get out of.
LOL!

That response was worth starting this idiotic post!
Aside from all the analytical breakdowns, statistical analysis, match-up player comparisons, etc. do you just sometimes feel in your psyche that LSU will either win or lose a game?
LSU was obviously overrated. Would Love to see them squeak into BR regional. Don’t see them making it to a super.
A lot of history between the 2 universities but my understanding is UL-L really wanted to be the Veterinary/Agricultural school (school’s geographical location, agrarian based economy, etc) especially since LSU had Medicine and Law.
My understanding is the official institutions’ name is The University of Louisiana-Lafayette. The marketing department, right after the name change, created the brand “Louisiana’s Ragin Cajuns” for their sports enterprises. There were no legally binding objections to this trademark. The lines get a little blurry sometimes when referencing the sports programs, but it’s trademarked and used by the University when referencing the schools sports enterprises. Smart play by their marketing department.

Looking like it was all hype. Oh well, maybe they will improve as the season goes on.
Lighting and TV processing quality is my guess.

When in the bright natural sunlight, Purple pops big time.

Artificial lighting, processed differently. Full artificial spectrum is unlike natural sunlight spectrum.

TV processing quality also makes a big difference.
LSU looks sloppy offensively. Maybe the late start had something to do with it?
Big one tomorrow on tap! Winning the series would be huge.
Woodward needs to publicly answer for this. Whether you’re a basketball fan or not, LSU has a brand and image to maintain. The fact this program is not even competitive is completely unacceptable. As LSU fans, we need to know what direction and plans he has for this program.

Smart move. This program is in shambles.
Sweeping Mizzou in the first SEC series at home is not a good reference to evaluate if this club is deserving of its ranking. The SEC schedule is a murderous row with Mizzou being one of the worst teams. It will definitely be a marathon, not a sprint.

USCe vs Texas - Finals.

USCe wins the Championship.

Hoping LSU Advances in the Quarterfinals. I don’t see them winning the Semi-finals if they happen to even make it that far.

It’s time for accountability on the state of this miserable Men’s Basketball product Scott Woodward. Get your arse up to that podium and explain your thoughts and where you want the direction of this program to go. Yes OP…Enough is enough.
Until he proves differently, I’m in the camp that Woodward feels zero pressure or sense of urgency when it comes to men’s basketball. The state of this program says so. This is a poorly coached team top to bottom. His recruiting has been ok but his approach to player development and game planning is abysmal. What’s worse is the apathy from the fan base and total lack of confidence in the situation improving.

Program definitely needs an infusion of some positivity. The apathy overall from the fanbase is worse than the Trent Johnson era. Brady had decent clubs but the fans had a major disconnect with him. The excitement level under Wade was over the top. Then the shiteshow followed and how his dismissal was handled basically put the program into the abyss. A self imposed death penalty that they are still feeling the effects of. Welcome to the cellar of the SEC for a while.
