Doubt it, but that’s just my opinion.

Should Bama be punished for being in a good conference?

That’s the correct and only answer for most. It’s just about hating Bama :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Good argument. I still say Bama quality wins look better than SMU and outweigh the losses.

Nice thought provoking effort though.

Yeah, but Bama also beat USCe so there’s that…

True. What about SMU’S quality wins? Can you speak about those? Will only losses matter to the committee?

What’s the case for SMU??

I’ve seen a lot of folks arguing and presenting evidence against Bama getting in the playoff, but I’ve yet to see anyone make a valid case showing why SMU deserves to be in the playoff.

Anyone?
Tier 1:
Scottie & Brooks

Tier 2:
Lowery & Finau

Tier 3:
Phil & Tiger

Tier 4:
Woodland & Schwartzel
I saw Justin Gatlin when he played high school football. I think he was an only a sophomore, but he literally made everyone around him look like they were in slow motion.

He didn’t play football anymore after that season. He went on to be a world class sprinter with a short, but prolific career at UT, and then an Olympic Gold medalist in the 100m.

Dude was/is hella fast.
Maybe Lanning and company are underachievers… Seems that DeBoer has a history of doing more with less. Recruiting matters, but winning matters more.
