re: Derek Stingley Jr. declares for the NFL Draft - Players Tribune
Posted by kensheila on 1/6/22 at 5:08 pm
Agree 100%! Derek Stingley was always about Derek Stingley, not LSU ... a football version of Ben Simmons. Screw him and all the others who are only using LSU as a stepping stone to the NFL or NBA. Sick of them.
re: Mainieri responds to question about pulling Hilliard
Posted by kensheila on 6/12/21 at 11:43 pm
It is rare when I agree with the folks on the Rant but there was no reason that I could see why he pulled Hilliard. He was pitching GREAT and didn't appear a bit tired. Hell of an effort wasted by a terrible coaching move and a bonehead play by the the 3rd baseman. The guy calling balls and strikes didn't help much either - UT was getting strikes on the same pitches he called balls on the Tigers pitchers.
re: Congrats to Devin White and Leonard Fournette; NFCCG bound!!!
Posted by kensheila on 1/18/21 at 1:44 pm
Both played great games ! Sure it didn't happen but Devin White should have got the game ball ... 11 tackles, fumble recovery and interception of one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game !!!
re: This goes out to the idiots critical of E's play calling last night

Do NOT think it is a weird post at all ! Think it is something that you fair-weather fans need to read and read again and if you are not a total moron take to heart. Coach O may not be the greatest play-planner/caller in history but he IS THE COACH OF THE DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPIONS and has done a phenomenal job of getting a team of nineteen-twenty year olds to a possible 5-5 season in the toughest division in the toughest conference in college football !!!
re: Anybody else notice a constant influx of “It’s not O’s fault” and “not Pelini’s fault”
Posted by kensheila on 12/11/20 at 3:22 pm
The Head Coach and the Defensive have to shoulder part of the blame but there are extenuating circumstances : one, a big glaring thing is these kids don know how to tackle and that is something they should have learned in junior high school, or middle school, whatever its called any more; second, the VAST MAJORITY of these kids on both sides of the ball NEVER played a second of SEC football before and that is just a tiny step below going into the NFL at 19-20 years old. They will probably not get it together this year but from the South Carolina game on, they have made steady improvement.
1958 National Championship Coaching Staff

Does anyone know who the coaches were on Paul Dietzel's staff in 1958 ? Pretty sure Charlie MacLendon was one but not positive. Thanks for any info.
re: O has restored all that Miles stole...

You are a total f,,,ing idiot !Miles won a NC, moron so if you lost these things you are a whining a/h. Get a life; go back at look at some of the Tiger teams pre-Miles era !
re: Reminder from a Clemson fan
Posted by kensheila on 1/4/20 at 6:58 pm
Here is a reminder for you, Clemson fan: Clemson & LSU only had one common opponent, Texas A&M, which Clemson beat by 14; LSU beat them by 43....Against Top 10 teams, LSU was 6-0, outscoring them 103-63; Clemson beat 1 Top 10 team, Ohio State, 29-23 and that was with a LOT of help from officials who robbed OSU of a touchdown. Clemson beat UNC by 1 point; UNC lost 4 more games in a conference that plays great roundball but has NO team that would win 3 games against the SEC West. The real Tigers from Louisiana will win by no less than 3 touchdowns ! Just a reminder !
re: Who is or will be the best team LSU played all season?
Posted by kensheila on 12/29/19 at 6:57 pm
Auburn had the best defense but as always, 'Bama was the best we faced; if Auburn had not got some calls (as is usual when they play at home) we would be playing The Crimson in NOLA 13 Jan 2020...they are so much better than Oklahoma, Clemson and Ohio State, it's pathetic !
re: Members of the CFP Committee
Posted by kensheila on 12/4/19 at 6:53 pm
Never saw or heard a direct quote from any of the CFP Committee when OSU jumped over LSU to #1 but have heard a number of pundits say it was because our defense was so bad...If that were true, the Aggie game should have certainly dispelled that crap....In their previous 11 games A&M had scored 50 touchdowns, an average of 4.6 TDs a game...Against the Tiger defense they scored ONE, rushed for 72 yards, passed for 97 yards,,,Tiger defense sacked them 6 times and had 3 interceptions...not too bad for a bad defense...Put Ohio State in the SEC West; they lose 4 times at least. In summary, the CFP Committee is as crooked as the a-hole sob's who officiated the game at College Station last year !
re: Check in if the faggies are your most hated team
Posted by kensheila on 11/26/19 at 11:44 am
After the screwing the Tigers (who had the win taken away 3 times)got at College Station last year, the Aggies have subplanted both Auburn and Florida as the teams I hate most in the world....I would rather see LSU beat this bunch of ****s by 75 points than win a National Championship ! The Tigers will do both !
re: 247 Aggie rant on Joe Burrow
Posted by kensheila on 11/26/19 at 11:34 am
You are a very typical Texas A&M dumbass moron...Joe will litter Tiger Stadium with bodies of ineffective totally incompetent Aggies...The only hope you have in this ball game is to bring the same cheating sob's that robbed LSU three times last year You "team" has two chances: None and fricking None !!!
re: Maybe the most aggie post of all time on the A&M 247 board
Posted by kensheila on 11/25/19 at 7:21 pm
Once upon a time a carload of Aggies were going to see A&M play LSU in Baton Rouge, When they were very close to Tiger Stadium they spotted a big sign that said "LSU LEFT" The driver said "I'll be damned" and turned around and headed back to College Station.
re: VOTE: Clyde Edwards-Helaire for Paul Hornung Award
Posted by kensheila on 11/24/19 at 6:41 pm
Just voted...they're showing Clyde in first place with a little over 48%...will vote more times later...Hell, this kid should be running in second place behind Joe in the Heisman voting !!!!!!
re: Fans leaving early - Notre Dame comparison
Posted by kensheila on 9/15/19 at 7:55 pm
In my opinion, a whole bunch of them are just spoiled assholes who have no appreciation for the hell these kids go through getting ready to play a game...I always stay til its over because I think the players deserve it...one big excuse is traffic...B.S.! Getting out of Tiger Stadium is not any harder or harrier than any other big sports venue...
re: Honestly, how long does former LSU coach Miles have at Kansas? AD Long as well
Posted by kensheila on 9/10/19 at 8:18 am
Pretty damned stupid question...two games into the season and you assholes are already trying to get the man fired ! Hopefully the people at KU have a little more sense as well as patience...this program was down the tubes when Les took it over and he nor any other coach (including Nicky Satan) is going to turn it around overnight.
Longhorn offense
Posted by kensheila on 9/8/19 at 7:21 pm
Am obviously glad Tigers held on and won a fantastic ballgame...the one thing that I came away with (and I know I'm not the expert many of the posters on Rant are...have only been watching LSU football for 74 years) is that the Tigers met and beat the best offensive team they will see this year, and YES, I'm including the Crimson Tide ! If they can continue this way, we WILL have a National Championship in Red Stick, USA !!!!
re: Final thoughts from a Longhorn sportswriter (with harsh words for the Texas DC)
Posted by kensheila on 9/8/19 at 7:12 pm
Just one question, Scipio: How much money did you make in your last fricking college football coaching job ? You might want to give a small amount of credit to the Tigers offense which was just a little bit better than the Longhorn defense....Fantastic ballgame and tremendous heart on both sides of both teams...
re: Drake Quibodeaux
Posted by kensheila on 7/15/19 at 8:58 pm
Thanks for the info...sorry it went that way but as I was told many years ago when I lost my infant daughter, God need her for something else...my prayers go out to his parents.
Drake Quibodeaux
Posted by kensheila on 7/15/19 at 8:55 pm
really hate bringing this up but does anyone know anything about Drake Quibodeaux, the 8-year-old who had inoperable rain cancer back in January...pretty sure the news won't be good but God performs miracles all the time so was just hoping He did one for this super little guy????
