re: Will there be a place in Phoenix where fans are gathering to watch the game?

Thanks but their Alumni is outdated. It has last years schedule and last years bars listed.
But I called three bars in town until one of them told me about Ragin Cajun Sports Bar in Scottsdale. I confirmed that is where they are meeting this year.
Don't go to Half Moon Sports Grill (which is on the Alumni page) because that is where BAMA meets this year.

Will there be a place in or around Phoenix where the fans will be gathering to watch the LSUvsTowson game tomorrow?
re: Where to watch an LSU game around the world

I called Phoenix: Half Moon Sports Grill (2121 E Highland Ave) and asked if the Phoenix LSU Alumni was hosting a party there tomorrow for the Towson game. They said no. Alabama's group will be here. So, I am wondering where the LSU party will be in Phoenix tomorrow?

Is there a place in Glendale Arizona to watch the Towson game on Sept 29?
Vindication Thread

a.k.a "I told you so" thread.
Those of us who have supported and defended and praised CLM for the last seven years have taken a lot of criticism. Now it seems everyone is jumping on the bandwagon. I say, "It's about time. Better late, than never."
But for those of you who have always supported CLM, I would like to give you opportunity for a little "I told you so" moment.
So please QUOTE yourself below and remind us of your perseverance as a faithful CLM-fan.
Here is a sample: I posted this in August of 2010.
And what do you know: one year later CLM is Coach of the Year, has a Heisman finalist, and is preparing to play in the BCSNCG again. The conventional wisdom now is that if LSU wins this season will be considered the greatest SEC season any team has ever played.
Yep. It feels good to be vindicated.

re: Unofficial show Miles some love thread. (Posted on 8/21/10 at 2:20 p.m.)
As an LSU fan that lives in Southern California, I just want to send out some fan love to Les Miles. Living not far from USC reminds me everyday the importance of integrity in a program. Many fans who live in Louisiana have no idea how much other coaches are scrutinized like Les is being scrutinized. Pete Carroll and Lane Kiffin out here are the butt of many jokes. I've seen Pete Carroll make some very bad coaching decisions. But the pressure is on LSU more than it is USC -- probably because LSU is in the SEC playing every week against the best. So, I just want to say how glad that I am that LSU has a man like Les Miles. If he goes somewhere else one day, and I'm sure he will, I hope that we already have someone as good as him committed to taking his place. But I've got a feeling that LSU has another National Championship game in their near future. Because of the talent level, coaches, and program integrity, it just seems that the odds are in LSU's favor to make another run for the Crystal Ball. BUT FIRST THINGS FIRST -- lets win the SEC WEST this year!!!!!!!!!!

LOL. That is the best statistic for sure. But not quite what I am looking for.
LSU BAMA Statistics

Did anyone do a post that compared the statistics of the LSU v Bama game? I tried to do a search but could not find one. Thanks.
re: Les Miles Deserves More Than Just Accolades, He Deserves Apologies

Ethan, I supported him since day 1 (see prior posts for proof) against the jeers of some of my friends and family and colleagues. I have been calling each one this past week to make sure they weren't choking on the crow.
Not surprisingly, some of them still pick out faults. I actually had one say, "I can't believe he pulled Lee. He has earned the right to play even if he makes a mistake."
I quickly reminded him, "Hey. Miles did put Lee back in the game. And immediately he threw another pick. Come on, you can't leave him in after that!"
"hmm," he said, "Maybe you are right."
Maybe, nothing. I am right! Coach Miles is a great coach. Different style than Saban or Myers, but just as good.... if not better.
