I recently played in a fivesome with an average group index of 13. 3 of the 5 of us missed the green on a par three and had 15-30 ft chips. All 3 of us made our chips for birdie. In 40 years of playing, I have never seen that happen. Anyone else ever experience that? ...

My Father-in-Law was dying a slow painful death from brain cancer. Then he contracted Shingles. He told me the pain from the shingles dwarfed what he was going through with the cancer. Steve was a master speckled trout guide out of Golden Meadow in the 90’s. He was/is an old friend and we visited and fished often for years. I last saw him in 2016 or 2017 but he virtually disappeared off the radar soon after that. Anyone have any current info on him?...

I’ve been struggling to get the right word to describe the lawsuit happy worm from St. Martinville. “Weasel” is just about right. His coverup of his flunky’s sexual harassment accusations tell you everything you need to know about the weasels’ ethics and values......

Shipsticks is a little pricey but they have never screwed it up. My Clubs beat my luggage last time I played in Tahoe. I pack my shoes, jackets, vest, and a change of clothes in my golf bag as insurance now....

This place is a mess. Honestly I cannot believe what I see when I drive around town. Just look at the I-10 corridor through the City. It’s incredible how much junk is along the side of the highway everywhere in the Parish. Who on earth would want to move here?
