re: Florida State and Miami, also contacting the SEC, apparently no one wants to be left out

FSU has signed over all rights to ACC through 2035 so this is not an option.... In other words, sure they could come but their conference split, tv rights, t-shirt sales, etc would go to the acc for the next 15 years..... So I'm not real sure this actually happened.
Yes, I'm a novice and clearly not good at this.... Is it dead or should I be waiting it out???

LOL, didn't say I was good at it, thats the reason I'm reading here, to learn from the experts.... This isn't my life savings, ha, this is just learning how to trade, what makes the market move. I think its fun ( not the losing part, just the learning).

I appreciate all the replies.... To give an update, bought UONE Tuesday morning at $9.29 per share sold that afternoon at $9.06 per share, then bought Wish Wednesday morning at $14.08 per share sold it this morning at $14.06 per share. Now in ADXS at $.48 per share..... So much better than the total loss that the lottery provided! But I am learning and maybe can get better. Wish I hadn't have sold that dogecoin in November!!!

So about me, I'm poor and a total novice. However, I at least realized that robinhood was only a 5% loss each week versus the lottery which was a 100%, lol.... I am also way to ADD to worry about the long term, doomed to be poor forever!
But I like ya'lls takes. What do you think about UONE this week, is it right or dead? How bout some others to watch?

Is wish still a buy in the morning? I took a nice pickup today from it, but still thinking it has more room..... Same for UONE???

I did the JETS etf at the beginning of the covid. Bought at 11+, it has done well but I'm wondering if its topped out? Anybody else in this one?
re: Mortgage lenders don't care about bank statements?
Posted by MsState on 6/3/21 at 2:14 pm
Its not the bank statements that are needed. Its sourcing and seasoning of any funds being used. In other words, is there enough and is it being borrowed from another source. Since it is clear the sale price of your current home, the proceeds will take care of any of those issues.....

Anybody ever tried to build a dock?
Posted by MsState on 6/2/21 at 3:11 pm
I live on a small lake in NE Mississippi. Not any wake or current issues. But it is a very soft muddy lake bed. I am still about a year away from buying a boat with other projects around this house. However, a buddy of mine is buying a new boat and I can pick his up for a sweetheart of a deal! That means, to make this work, I have to figure out immediately how to get a covered dock! I have tried a few contractors in the area and they are months away, and most didn't even return the call. I saw a deal called Tommy docks and it looked interesting. Just wondered if any of you had tried this project on your own.

So besides a salad, french bread and maybe grits, any other ideas for side dishes with this? Seems like grits and french bread together may be a little to starchy???
Whats the SEC record to go Bowling?

This may have already been discussed but whats the rants thoughts? I think 4-6 will go and wonder if 3-7 will just due to lack teams available?
re: Bama getting way too much hype - Ole Miss easily covers spread
Posted by MsState on 10/6/20 at 5:43 pm
Alabama's punter can stay at home this week, he will not get a snap. The question is how many times does the Ole Miss punter see the field? I think Corral is pretty solid but this will literally be the best defense he will see this season. And we saw against Florida, Ole miss has no trouble promoting trash time points and yards....I think Bama covers, 63-31....
re: Which airlines will survive the pandemic insanity?

What are you guys thoughts on ETF's? I bought into one called JETS in late March, just under $12, it has hovered around $18 for a bit now. Obviously it is the airline industry. Precovid has a 5 year history in the mid $30's. I am still good with holding a while longer. But I am an absolute novice on these type things.
re: CFN - Will there be a college football season in 2020? Where is the Plan?
Posted by MsState on 7/7/20 at 1:07 pm
I am worried about quality of play. Yes anything is better than nothing.... But if you think about the top players on your team that think they may be NFL ready. Why would they risk playing in some sort of abbreviated season that doesn't mean anything. How does that totally change the landscape if certain players do or don't play?

What are the pros and cons of floating versus posting?
Building a dock....
Posted by MsState on 6/22/20 at 12:45 pm
I live on a small lake in NE Mississippi. I have a dock but would like to extend it and add a small 4-6 post boat house with a basic metal roof... I can't do this now but would like to over the next year to 18 months. Just wondering if you guys have done anything like this? I will definitely need to hire it out. Is it $100 a post, $1500? I am just starting to put it together financially and would love to know if anybody else had experience in this....
