NBA Ratings Doubled Last Night!
Posted by Parscale on 7/31/20 at 7:46 pm
The NBA returned on Thursday night to bumper TV ratings for TNT. A thrilling showdown between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers drew 3.4 million total viewers, more than doubling the network's average viewership for a regular season telecast.
Although this board wants to cancel the NBA, it appears viewership isn’t hurting in the least.

Except that it’s YOU that is cancelling sports.
I watch whatever the hell I want. I’m a man. I’m 40.

I wish. More like 40-45% Rasmussen Reports polling ranked 24th out of 28 for accuracy. See below.
A Fordham University study by Dr. Costas Panagopoulos compared pre-election polling with the results from election day. The study ranked Rasmussen Reports 24th out of 28 polls in accuracy, one slot above Gallup.[62] An analysis by Nate Silver on FiveThirtyEight ranked Rasmussen 20th out of 23 pollsters for accuracy in the 2012 elections, with an average error of 4.2 points.[63] After the election, James Rainey of the Los Angeles Times wrote that "Some conservative media outlets used the Rasmussen polling to prop up a narrative in the final days of the campaign that Romney had momentum and a good chance of winning the White House.

The games last night were such welcome reprieve from the shitstorm we've been living in the past 4 1/2 months. Can't wait to see how the seeding games shake out. Go Pels!

Does anyone need to see anymore to make up their mind? If you’re undecided at this point, nothing will change your mind.

Adam Silver has done a phenomenal job of containing the virus. No positive tests in the NBA since July 20th! The NFL and MLB should follow his lead.

It’s pretty simple. Libs say he went to the Trump rally in Tulsa, contracted Covid there and died from it.
There’s not much more to it than that.

Ridley,
Imagine you’re making breakfast for your 5 year old son, driving him to school and kissing him goodbye and letting him know his Mom will pick him up at 3pm. Then, imagine receiving a call that your son was mowed down along with several kids by a deranged gunman.
You then make the funeral arrangements, try to process what happened, try to keep your family and marriage together, all the while there’s Alex Jones and Ben Swann telling you that this is all fake news and that it was staged.
frick the both of him. Seriously human garbage. Sorry if you think Ben Swann is a decent man with “integrity.”

The dude is a total scumbag. He promoted that Sandy Hook was staged and put the families who were grieving their children through more hell than they were already experiencing.

Haven't heard that name since I was on the Daily Paul forums for Ron's campaign in 2012
There's probably good reason for that. Swann reported on conspiracy theories about the 2012 Aurora, Colorado shooting, questioned the truth of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, presented 9/11 conspiracy theories, and the false claims of a cover-up by the CDC of data related to the MMR vaccine and autism.
According to his wiki page: "In 2017, after his employer, CBS affiliate 46 in Atlanta, aired a Reality Check which presented the false Pizzagate conspiracy theory as potentially true, Swann was forced by WGCL to bring down his Truth in Media website and all of his social media. About a year later, he was fired when WGCL learned that Swann was planning to relaunch Truth in Media."
He's not very credible, unless you think Pizzagate was real.

Mail in ballots might not be the worst thing, since we now control the Post Office. We can suppress the Dem votes and no doubt will do so.

I'm all in for Trump, but what about any of those statements isn't true?
He admitted he hasn't asked Putin about the bounties because he considers it fake news. Gomer tested positive today and is known for having an anti mask stance. Texas polling is showing a dead heat. Etc.
The last statement about troops swarming the streets could be misconstrued, but the other things he said were factual and not really opinion.

Very interesting post. You say that Republicans are catching up to the Dems regarding voter registration. Do you happen to have the voter registration numbers from 2016? I’d be interested in seeing how much ground the GOP is gaining since the last Presidential election.

We’re definitely fighting an uphill battle in a few states. The problem is that McSally and Gardner are both weak candidates. Gardner is running against a well established Dem in a Blue state. McSally hasn’t ever seemed to have gotten a lot of support and the Covid numbers are pretty bad there.
The optics on these two don’t look promising.
