The younger the kids, the worse the parents.
They will not do double duty. There are a lot of differences in rules between NFL & NCAA, so the NFL will want the replacement officials to be completely focused on their rules/games.

Of course he was talking about a hurricane, but you have the pictures.
Is it not the most Louisiana thing ever that with all of the changes in the LSU administration, that Will Wade is perhaps the most untouchable coach on that list?

I was thinking, everyone seems well behaved & accepting their fate. Then I thought it’s probably not going to be like that in a couple of months. They’ll need the National Guard if this lasts until mid-May.

This is a new policy started this school year. My daughter has friends that are living just off campus & parks her car in front of their house. There is a dent in the back of her car that was not there when she left home. She claims someone hit her & left. The damage is minimal & I won’t fix it until she gets ready to buy a new vehicle. There has been no other issues.

Just to be clear, this is not Columbus Day. They are two completely different days.
They don’t call it Sleesville for nothing.

I played 9 @ St. Mary on Friday with a couple of locals. They said the greens were in rough shape. But St. Mary was in pretty good shape.

Got mad that Saban got a parade and raise after winning a championship. Thought he deserved some recognition for winning several championships, but found out LSU didn’t really care about track & field.

This is absolutely the truth. This team, top to bottom, looks like they are pressing and trying to be something they are not. You cannot be successful in baseball when you are pressing. To quote Crash Davis, “So relax! Let's have some fun out here! This game's fun, OK? Fun goddamnit.” I don’t think anyone is having fun.
I’ve wondered what happened to Johnny after this encounter. How did the rest of his life play out? What happened when he died & showed up @ the pearly gates?
I played a muni in Omaha last summer during CWS stay. Green fee was $50 with a cart. I would say it would easily be a top 20 course in Louisiana. Rolling terrain, excellent greens, plenty of grass in the fairways.

How the hell is that illegal?

I know a KY wildlife agent & texted him this question. Within 3 minutes he replied with the answer, KRS 525.137 sexual crimes against animals (apparently he has had to answer this question before). I read the statute, it does not distinguish between live and dead animals. The definition of animal is “any nonhuman creature “. The lawyers will surely dissect this nuance.

A buddy of mine is a former basketball player @ Tenner & still somewhat connected . He said everybody (I assume fans) is ready to fire the new coach.
It probably was the correct call, but LSU caught a break with it. The runner (Simpson, I think) was returning to 2nd base like he thought the catch was made, even slid back to the base. The 2nd base umpire actually called him out & he left the base & was walking back to the dugout before he jumped back onto 2nd. It was a really screwy play. In fact the only person that “did the right thing” was the 1st base umpire who immediately called no catch, & he got the call wrong.
