IF they want a pronoun from me, that pronoun will be "It"!

Exactly
To my knowledge there is no other SEC school with such requirements, and there are very few across the nation with such. The fact that, as the OP notes, LSU only half-assed tries to "enforce" it clearly states the requirements have NOTHING to do with a concern for public safety and EVERYTHING to do with political/university leaders wanting to leverage LSU football to force people to cave to their political whims. There are some, perhaps many, who love LSU football but simply don't want to participate in that political game. So they are choosing not to attend
Amen!!! I'm one of those! It is the principle of the matter.
I'm older than most here and until last year, I could count on one hand how many LSU games I had missed in the last 30 years. I refuse to let LSU play politics. They will not get a penny more from me until they stop.
re: Do you think term limits for Congress would actually help our situation?
Posted by crazyaboutlsu on 9/21/21 at 8:13 am
Yes......... two things that would help tremendously: (1) term limits, (2) whatever they vote for applies to them as well (no exemptions).

Still waiting on my refund. I’m sure the mandates and communist policies are a reason attendance is down.
I went to the ticket office last week. Was told they were still trying to work through the process, which tells me there are a ton of people who requested refunds or they are holding onto the $$$ as long as they can and hope that some will attend games so they can refuse a refund.
If you want the refund and can go, I would go straight to the ticket office in person. They acted like they wanted me to wait, but I kindly and politely told them I made a trip up here because they wouldn't return emails so we were going to handle this while I was there. And, they did.
re: Anyone else hear the new Dem talking points regarding Covid spread?
Posted by crazyaboutlsu on 7/7/20 at 9:40 am
I've got three different friends who have tested positive. Two have no symptoms (one is in 30's and one is in 40's). Only one has mild symptoms (he is in his early 60's). All three are married and have been quarantined with their wife. Two of the 3 were swapping bodily fluids the whole time (Sunday was their 14th day of quarantine). Guess what? None of the wives have tested positive.
Short answer to all of this, is the "Experts" have absolutely no clue how this is being spread and as has been repeated over and over, it only effects the elderly and people in bad health to begin with.

I am in favor of all these. The band between downs on defense kept the crowd in the game. Maybe they should put loud speakers in the areas the band can't be heard. THis is college, not the NFL. Why have the band if they can't play? Would open seats for more season tickets.
BINGO....
For Decades, the band has kept the crowd in the game. The piped in music is killing the atmosphere.

Thanks for the Beer that tasted like boiled Peanuts. It was good and different. Glad you had a good time and glad you liked the Jambalaya.....
The piped in music blows...... Our administration is killing our game day atmosphere with it.

Hey "crazyaboulsu" Do you set up your tailgate the night before or do you wait until the morning and just get there early?
I'll be in a Yukon Denali and I'll have my Tiger Flag up. How will i know your tailgate?
We just go out in the morning. Somewhere between 7 and 7:30 am.
I drive a blue ford Dually. it is usually parked right in front of me. that's the easiest way I can tell you. Everyone has purple and gold tents...LOL.

The law school is a nice place to park and tailgate. We tailgate on the north east corner, if your in the area. There have been some great suggestions on here about what to do. I'll swap you out some Jambalaya for one of those beers.....

I have a want….

I have a want….
If there is going to be booing, which I know is unstoppable, I have a WANT. I have a want for the booing to stop and the chant of “LESS MILES SUCKS” to start, so there in no confusion as to whom the boo’s are being directed towards. Miles refuses to take the blame and continues to divert it towards the players. When the fans show there disgust, he still diverts it to the players instead of taking the heat himself and then turns around and chastises the fans about booing players. I understand the boos where at the QB play, but I also, to a large degree, think they were more directed towards his hard-headedness to make a change and try to fix a problem that is broken, instead of JJ himself. If the boos are going to continue to happen, there needs to be no confusion from now on.
BTW, I do no like the booing at all and think its horrible for the players, but I also understand the frustrations fans have.

re: Les Miles best coaching of the year........

Will be these last 3 games and how we play. This is the exact same situation that UA was in last year and lost the last 3 under Saban starting with ULM right after us. We have Troy so this is where it starts for us, the difference is that Miles isn't Saban and I truely believe we finish out 3-0 over the next 3 weeks and finish with a 10 win season afterthe bowl game.
These are the type of seasons that coaches truely earn there money and I think that Miles will, we knew that the potential to lose afew games was here this year and yet we are shocked that it happened. This will be a better team for having the loses we do and the way we lost them. I will be there loud a proud to support my team for the 3 remaining games and I firmly believe that they will be victories.
This is when LSU fans need to support there team more then any other.
Corndog, I agree with your analogy and agree 100% with your post. Most people thought we would finish the season with 3 loses after RP left. That's exactly where we stand.
If you would have asked me before the seaon, that is the record I would have gave. However, I did not think our defense would be this bad. I know they played well versus Bama, but Bama was the perfect offensive matchup for them. Bama doesn't have playmakers all over the field and they are a traditional down hill offensive team. Saying that, I think we lose one more game and end up with 4 loses. Ole piss is going to give our defense fits. They have play makers at every position on offense and a Coach that isn't conservative. Nutt also has had success against us with less overall talent than he has now, and going against much better deffenses from us. It wouldn't suprise me to see their O score over 35 against us. I do not think we lose to Troy, but I think a lot of people will be bitching next week at how their O ran all over the field on us. They are also a spread based team that will give us a ton of problems on D.
Other than thinking we lose one more than you, simply because of matchups, I thought You Nailed it.......... :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers:

the only reason Hatch got the job was by default. hatch was older, Crowton's guy and was the back up last year. Lee, in the meantime, was injured and missed alot of ST. This is the whole reason Hatch was ven in there in the first place. He is not SEC material
Ding, Ding, Ding.......we have a winner....
