re: Would you vaccinate against cancer

Nah it's really not surprising that General Medical knowledge by the public is so low basic science knowledge has decreased year over year. And the entire covet issue created a major blemish in our educational system at all levels.

So much bad science in this thread.
Even more interesting is the fact that in four pages no one's mentioned we already have a mass produced Mass accepted well tolerated and effective vaccine that's primary goal is to prevent cancer.

Implied tears of sadness.
His biggest hang up was Trump said mean things and was not unconditionally open to immigration. He conviently would leave off the "illegal" before immigration.

It's supposed to be tears. Although quite possibly it's just a few drops from his wine spritzer.
This particular pastor has been very verbose about Trump not being a true Christian and Christians voting for him falling to the sin of political idolatry. He often explains how it's unconscionable that we would vote for someone with such a sinful nature and sinful platform in comparison to Harris who clearly aligns with Scriptual values in his mind.
The liberal interpretation and selective dismissal of Scripture by so many on display this election has been astounding.

Assassination attempt. What do you think happened? multiple choice
Posted by Bleeding purple on 7/26/24 at 1:13 pm
It has been nearly 2 weeks since the assassination attempt. I am curious about the thought across this board.
Was the assassination attempt:
1. A carefully planned publicity stunt by Trump/Trump camp complete with intentionally only hitting his ear or Trump faking an ear injury live.
2. A lone wolf who managed to carry out his plan that was not motivated by political reasons by identifying and taking advantage of holes in security created solely by negligence and unintentional error.
3. A single shooter put into action with the assistance 1-2 others to be able to navigate security and gain access to carry out the attempt. The navigation of security being facilitated by intentionally leaving openings in the setting of known incompetence and negligence.
4. A single shooter motivated and activated by gov agencies for political reasons to assassinate Trump with multiple layers of intentional security openings being created by key members in the gov. to allow access and allow shots to be fired. While simultaneously assuring that those security members not part of the plot were the most incompetent and uncoordinated to create plausible deniability.
5. A more complex assassination plot from the Dems knowing Biden was not medically capable of continuing despite being their best hope to beat Trump. A plot that involved more than one shooter and multiple key security members creating holes in security to facilitate the attempt while simultaneously assuring that those security members not part of the plot were the most incompetent and uncoordinated to create plausible deniability.
please respond with 1 through 5

Workers in the fishing and hunting industry had the highest mortality rates per 100,000 full-time workers, according to BLS, with 145 deaths per 100,000 people. They were followed by loggers, pilots and flight engineers and roofers.
145/100000 or 0.15%
That is less than 1%
What about just workers being victims of murder?
Police officers .02%
Retail workers .001%
taxi drivers .2%
Thus the job with the highest rate of death and highest rate of being a victim of violent crime is by far:
President elect, incumbent president, and former president of the US
We have had 45 men serve as president
4/45 assassinated 8.9%
3 more shot but not killed
7/45 shot 15.6%
An additional 12 (at minimum) had at least 1 thwarted attempt on their lives
19/45 target of assassination attempts 42.2%
And a 78y/o multibillionaire is willing to "Fight! Fight! Fight!" for the position despite his harrowing near death experience. :usa:

re: What is your favorite square bill crank, and why?

Just bought 6 of the KVD 4.0 and 4 of the 2.5 to try out.
What is your favorite square bill crank, and why?
Posted by Bleeding purple on 10/4/23 at 9:22 pm
I dont throw cranks often but have collected a wide assortment over the years. Now that my boys are fishing Texas HS series we likely need to pick a few specific cranks to purchase in bulk.

No reasonable self defense includes continually throwing haymakers on a guy down on his hands and knees.
Looks like all 4 should have been arrested.

re: Lightest line you use for bass? Not braid

Would be interesting to see the comparison. At some point air resistance (line diameter) not line weight will be the determining negative factor in casting distance other variables being the same.

6lb fluoro is lightest I would go but you can cast that SR-5 on 8 to 10 lb fine.
Due to smaller diameter, increased sensitivity, better abrasion resistance, near invisibility in water, and higher density making it sink, I would go fluorocarbon for a diving bait.
BUT, would pair that with a 6'6" plus L or ML rod that has a slow or medium action/taper.
A fast action/taper rod will be more prone to break that fluoro because it has no stretch like mono does.

Lol, no
re: I expect an OC that runs a spread, up tempo offense, that can get the play in in time....

I never understood why teams could not have both.
Have both, OK
Do both, OK
Excel at both, not so fast
Different personel attributes are needed for each style. Players that can dominate at both offensive approaches are rare at the skill position and more so in the trenches.

Yall were absolutely right! Max just wasn't the guy. Nuss blew him away, just look at the stats! Who's the new flavor of the week now?
Proud of all the athletes who just keep on grinding. Tune out the noise and keep working Tigers (Max, Nuss, Bech, and all who wear the purple and gold)
