i do remember Vince's Grocery due to the fact that I grew up in the area and worked at Laurel Lea while in high school.
Do what we did, collect empty soda bottles and cash the in.
The 32 oz. (big ones) was 25 cents. Big money! :cheers:

We also lived on Frey St. early 70s and me and my brothers would hit the canal all the way to Howell Park for the day.
Played in/on the plane, retrieved lost golf balls and sold them back to the golfers for a nickel. They loved us.
Ended the day going to Vincent's Grocery buying bubble gum and a soda before heading home.
Good times for sure!

I can't remember the name but we use to get chemical manufacturing equipment for pilot use from an industrial surplus place (bone yard).
