fish it pretty regularly plenty fish but all small. lake isnt what it used to be but it seems to be trying to make a comeback. hurricanes and keep every fish coonasses put a hurting on that area

If youre going to bowfish Darrel with Marshmasters nobody compares or tries harder everybody else watches the clock and if the weather sucks goes put you on garfish

offshore out of there is pretty rough you'll be trolling for kingfish. But that said inshore in that area is solid huge trout, tarpon, redfish, snook. Fished with John Frazier with inland fishing charters last year and had a great day. Florida trout fishing is different but the fish are huge

All in the title mid lake area

Well went fishing out of Hopedale. Ran to comfort rough day few fish on my way back in I tried to salvage the day went fish a few well heads. It was me and a couple buddies pull up at this large platform drop the trolling motor troll in and start working the pilings, we troll around casting and work our way from one end of the platform to the other. At he far end of the platform there is this barge tied up once we make it there we see a boat tied up to the other side of the barge and there are two men on it probably in their 60s both men have shorts down to their ankles one guy is bent over the center console and the other is drilling him like an oil rig. We made eye contact they said hey we picked up the trolling motor and left. That was the end of our day. I dont even know what to think about this. its a strange world we live in

heading up to toledo in a couple weeks. Im bringing the wife so i was going to stay at cypress bend on this run. happened to stumble on the recent reviews of the place and it sounds like the place went to shite...... place has been struggling for years. There are a lot of private boat launches out there and honestly cocodrie is no where near the draw that venice or grand isle is. the restaurant food is ok at best and you're competing 5-6 other marinas and bait shops. 6.5 is probably what the debt is. sadly its one of those places that is doomed to fail
