""""Whoa: Because I actually care about our players outside of their football lives? Ok then. """""
They don't even know your name. I don't see you running around campus starting support groups Mr. Morally Superior.
What have you ever done for one single troubled LSU player? Name one thing. You can't.
All you have ever done is post to this forum, eat pizza and watch the games.
" Oh waa waa waa, I care about our players outside of their football lives."
I can easily see muting all college football to go along with the NFL, NBA and Nascar, because of people like you.

""""Whoa : I guess this is where we start bashing players for their views and opinions.
Further pushing the narrative that we, as a fan base, only care about them when they’re on the field for our enjoyment and entertainment. """"
When else should I care about them? How many of them care about you, or me? I thought that football was about entertainment? Now I'm supposed to be caring and sensitive with people I don't know who could give two sheets whether I live or die? Opinions are fine as long as you and people like you do not try to FORCE ME to agree with your opinion. And that is what is going on. Understand , Snowflake?

If any of you think that Saban wanted to do this, I got new for you.

There is a bit of uncertainty in the NFL. Since the NFL has inserted itself into politics, many many fans will be boycotting, present company included.
As much as I like Joe Burrow, I will not be watchng.
I will not be supporting the Marxist white people hating BLM.If you support the NFL you will be supporting that too. I will not be supporting some kid making millions for playing a childs game, only to watch him disrespect the flag of the very same nation that gave him the opportunity to be severely overpaid....only later to watch cries of income inequality from BLM. (It's only income inequality when referring to white people, by the way. Blacks people can make as much as they can horde in and it's not inequality) I will pick my country over football. That's how I feel about it.

On America's current path, you may not see college football again for many years. The virus isn't the problem. Your masters making decisions for the masses are the problem along with politicizing sports.

Posted by burreauxxx: Look, not even an nfl team would turn down the chance to add a top 5 pick for a year if they could.
So get off your Brennan high horse and focus on championships over loyalty """
How do you know what an NFL team would do?
Is it your vast and overwhelming coaching experience in the NFL leading you to your bold statements?
Or is it that you're some 5 star prospect on LSU's roster that nobody has ever heard of, who thinks he knows what's best for the team? No....I'm afraid not. You're just some fan who has no idea what he's talking about.

Posted by turnpiketiger: I don’t give a shite if he was as old as Brandon Weeden. If a heisman finalist is transferring in, then he can compete for the job just like anyone else. It’s not rocket science here. Coach O’s job is to win games not play who has waited their turn. It’s dog eat dog "
As to you......how do you know that Brennan might not come in and take over where Burrow left off? Hmmm? You don't! But you're ready to throw Brennan under the bus anyway. You must think that Brennan is on the LSU roster AS A STARTING QUARTERBACK because he has no clue how to run an offense at THAT position.
This is why players play the game, and coaches coach the team......and you get to watch while drinking beer and eating pizza. Yours and LSUdude's football acumen doesn't allow for anything more than being a fan. That's it. A fan. Sometimes delusional but, nevertheless, a fan. Both of you might take comfort in knowing that there are literally millions just like you and none of them have ever coached a national championship game, or won a Heisman or biletnikoff.

Posted by LSUdude247 : That doesn't mean shite. You don't put someone on the field because he waited his time, you put someone on the field because of their talents. If Justin Fields is the more talented player, you 100% take him and throw him on the field. """"
It means a lot. It also demonstrates what kind of unscrupulous imbecile you are. Not to mention ignorant.
There's no way Fields transfers from Ohio States to LSU and learns the LSU offense in a month. Aside from that you don't yet know if Myles Brennan just might be the more talented player in the LSU offense.
But I like sparring with asshats like you whose IQ spans the range of a potato.

How did I know I would log in here and see a bunch of spectators who watch the game, and not play the game.
First of all, Brennan did his time. Second of all Brennan knows the LSU offense. He has practiced the LSU offense. He knows the receivers. The LSU offense is in his head.
So you transfer Fields over who has never seen or practiced the play book. Never practiced with the receivers, the offensive line, or anyone else on offense.
Those of you supporting this are fools. Plain and simple. Not to mention......Brennan did his time, played behind Burrow, waited for his moment.......and about half of you mindless twits are ready and willing to throw him under a bus and take it all way from him.
You guys are unbelievable sometimes.

What you are seeing here is a bunch of Liberal/Democrat agenda in an election year. Democrats and Liberals have decimated everything they have touched or been part of.
They are nothing to be admired. I don't care what they have to say about Trump either. That doesn't matter to me. What does matter to me is a group of Marxist GLOBALIST LOONS who have been paid to do anything and everything they can think of to destroy America, including cries for no police who just happen to be the line in the sand between a civil society, and all out chaos mob rule. And that is Marxist, communist GLOBALIST/DEMOCRAT/LIBERAL/LOONS in a nutshell. There is no other way to see it.

I have already opted out of the NFL, cancelled my subscription to ESPN and anything having to do with NASCAR. This is all part of the Democrat/Liberal agenda to decimate the United States. Last thing I have to say about this is, " Get woke, go broke."
re: Is there a possibility Jamarr Chase opts out?
Posted by SilentAssassin on 8/5/20 at 10:15 am
None of you people PLAY football, you just WATCH football as spectators. None of you have anything to lose by watching football. None of you are going to be drafted by the NFL and given multi million dollar contracts. None of you know what Chase is thinking or what Chase might do. Chase doesn't catch balls for any of you, doesn't care what any of you think and when it comes to his career and you, none of you matter. It's odd that you think that you do. Chase plays because he's good at it and knows he can become a multi millionaire. When it comes down to that, and you, guess what matters. Oh and there is no, we did this, we won a national championship, we will beat this team and that team. You can defend this logic anyway you like and still be wrong. You didn't play the game, you weren't drafted, you didn't accomplish anything, you didn't win a Heisman, Biletnikoff or Thorpe. You watched and spectated while drinking beer and eating pizza. Odd that some of you think ( or act like) you're part of a high level team. At the end of the day , Chase will do what's best for Chase, Not what you think he should do.

Really? You are on the 2020 LSU football roster?
What position do you play?
