Trubisky be. Daniel

Do he be?
Is every free agent thread going to be hijacked into an Ingram thread? Is this what we have to look forward to?

Anyway, this seems like a solid pick-up.

But hey, maybe we could get that 2020 second back for good behavior!

What are the odds that Ellerbe is injured by the process of clearing waivers?

He can't clear waivers. He'd trip over them.
Attendance was fine, near full along the sidelines. Feels like it was hardly advertised around town at all. Very odd.
I was at the game. You really can't tell anything based off of the first preseason game, but the team looked more disciplined in rotations and ball movement than anything we saw last year. It wasn't so much the result as the fundamentals that were encouraging. Still a few too many turnovers, but less blatantly stupid plays.

Hield looked good, Moore looked very good, and even though AD was quiet, he still got his when he was in. Omer still looked pretty lost, Ajinca got the start and looked meh. Waaaay fewer wide open 3s on defense, which is encouraging.

These are stupidly basic first impressions, I know  But I'm in a rush and just kinda wanted to spitball a little bit. It was fun to have a game in my backyard for once.
How insecure does a fan have to be to have their team make the Super Bowl mere months ago and still feel the need to make multiple shitposts about being the best in their division

I mean, damn

I sure hope so. Better selection for us.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm following your updates so there's at least 1 person paying attention

Also following along! Appreciate the updates.
It's a tackling dummy. It's not going to replace player-to-player contact entirely (or at least it shouldn't, if you have a decent coaching staff). It's going to supplement it. Just like stationary tackling dummies don't eliminate player-to-player contact, neither will this. It's just another tool. If used in that way, then yeah, it could be pretty useful I think.
I went to school at Pleasant Hill and our baseball field was just a patch of grass somebody threw a fence around. Stupidly huge dimensions out there. It was at least 400 feet at any given point on the wall. In my 3 years of playing I don't think there was ever an outside-the-park home run, but there were plenty inside-the-park because our teams were awful

Also played a playoff game in Elizabeth (I think) where the left field wall was maaaybe 200, center was about 300, and right field was like 400. It was like a parallelogram or some crap.
Not to hijack the thread, but did anybody who was at the game notice some weird group trying to recruit outside of the stadium? Wtf was that about?
I'll take Out of the Park Baseball 14, if you don't mind.

As a Pleasant Hill graduate and former Eagles baseball player, it's a real shame

Funny story: in 2005 (I think) we made the playoffs with no wins at all, and beat Elizabeth, the 4th seed, in the first round. We thought we were hot stuff until Linfield beat us 17-0 the next round. But hey, state quarterfinalists!
