Thought he was amazing in '24 season. Broke a ton of runs. This season he seemed to make bad, quick decisions on where to run which too often resulted in him getting stuffed for loss or 1-2 yd gain. Who knows. Maybe injury related. Berry was better at pausing a bit, looking for hole then blowing through it.

Big accomplishment for Jets as he came into today with 947 yards and has 68 at halftime to put him over 1,000 for his first six seasons in NFL. Only he, Randy Moss, AJ Green and Mike Evans have done that. Congrats to a Tiger great!!!

I'd be shocked if he actually left. This is about getting more $ from LSU. He'll have a good QB, whoever that is, and LK calling plays for him.

I love Coach O and think he'd do great job with D line but it would be too much of a distraction to hire him. I'll bet Lane feels same way.

Agree, but at 64 it seems highly unlikely that coaching burnout can be turned around. He just seems over it.

How many times must it be said? Bama without Saban is not the Bama of the past several years. Lane will get LA recruits while next Bama guy will continue to struggle to get top talent. I don't think Lane would leave LSU right now for any school.
