Is he trolling or what is this? I’m sure he doesn’t own a home here… it’s definitely weird timing and he has to know that. He would be one of my top choices at this point

Knowing that Riley is going to USC? It probably shouldn’t but it actually makes me feel a little better about that whole scenario. OU can EAD for talking shite. Ultimately, if someone is interested in USC, they probably wouldn’t fit in well at LSU. It’s comparing apples to oranges. We don’t offer that kind of lifestyle but do offer a better brand of football. Also, this could open up recruiting in TX to us!

Napier- sounds like Florida will sign him
Aranda- a lot of USC talk
Jimbo- publicly said no
Tucker- signed extension
Who does that really leave?
BOB? Would be terrible
Stoops? More of the same thing- no offense
Campbell? Mostly mediocre but has overachieved a bit
Peterson? Would be nice but no one has heard anything
Kiffen? Thought I heard he extended but if not, I’d be fine with that and I’m sure he’d be interested
Fickell? I guess he has no interest
Rhule? Would be huge and possibly the only splash hire left

I thought he was a nickel LB and was mostly only playing in coverage, but he looks 240-250 to me

Assuming that’s what happened. We’re definitely a big step up from Baylor. I can understand Jimbo and Riley passing on this job… to them, this would basically be a horizontal move with maybe more potential than where they are. Maybe Aranda doesn’t want the pressure?

WTF. How clueless can you be? You don’t EVER tell the media about private conversations with player’s parents. It embarrasses all parties involved and it’s private. It embarrasses the father and the son. Why would he let this shite out?

Yeah I know nothing about football. When I played, a few years ago, LBs that were left unblocked were supposed to make tackles on run plays

Uhhhh… I don’t know what you’ve been watching but in the first half of the season, especially UCLA, he was making tackles way downfield and they were the result of his own blown assignments. It has happened a lot this season but has stopped when we started blitzing him. If you can’t see that, I don’t know what to tell you

Idk. Bo Nix was screaming “tackle me” most of that game and Clark never did so it was more than 1 goal stand

We’ll… I mean if teams want to really dig into his film from earlier in the season, they’ll have a lot of reasons not to take him in the first 4-5 rounds. You can’t just come alive and start making TFLs one game and expect to be an early round pick. There has to be consistency and his early play at Mike wasn’t good

I was definitely one that has been hard on him from the start… and last night he came alive. I won’t change my mind about what I watched last season, the UCLA game, or the Auburn game, but last night they actually used him right. He was playing on the Edge a lot more, which should be his position going forward, or they finally blitzed him and didn’t force him to make reads. It was a scheme change that is 9 weeks overdue. He may have a chance to be drafted, but I was wondering if he even could return next year?

I feel like he’s been this all along. He’s extremely limited and doesn’t have a feel for it. It’s just not as evident against CMU or McNeese
