Meyer did extremely well at OSU too. He was something like 83-9 with a NC

The 2 teams I DID NOT bet for or against this year are Alabama and Ohio State. You just don't know which team shows up.

Butch Jones is rumored to be the front runner to replace Saban
Bengals are solid throughout their lineup except that crappy OL. If they upgrade during the offseason, they could be playoff bound for several years. If they don't, Joe's going to get injured a few more times. I'm in the wait and see mode
Teams like Texas A&M will make sure of that. Dumbo threw a hissy fit yesterday talking about it. After an 8-4 season, they put together the greatest recruiting class of ALL-TIME. Yeah, right !
Actually, Joe and Dwayne Haskins were in a tight battle for the starting job when Joe broke his hand and set him back and behind Haskins. And I believe it required surgery. At that point, Joe decided to transfer. Plus, Haskins had a super year in setting several Big Ten records so it's kind of hard to blame anybody in this case

re: Clemson and dabo

Dabo's "lil old Clemson" act has been stale for awhile now. Never thought I'd see the day when I'd be forced to pull for OSU and hopefully this is the first and last time it happens.
I think the key to the OSU-Clemson game revolves around Justin Fields' knee sprain. He'll have 3 weeks to get it back to normal and return to his effective running earlier in the year. If he's able to run again, I have OSU winning. If not, Clemson. Both are extremely talented but LSU should handle either one. Gonna be a great playoff.
The kid is special and is loved almost as much by OSU fans as the LSU fans. Visit some of the OSU boards and they show nothing but love for the kid but I wonder how they'll feel if they meet us in the NC game and Joe torches them.
Forgettable footnotes ? That's an incredible amount of QB talent in that short of a period. And the competition was real close between Joe and Haskins who went on to shatter a ton of Big Ten single season records last year and he threw for 50 TDs last year and is now starting for the Redskins. Plus they now have Justin Fields who will probably be the Heisman front runner going into next year. Forgettable footnotes ? Hardly

I really believe the key to the 3 games (semis and final) is Justin Fields' knee strain. He has 3 weeks to get it somewhat right and be able to run again which was not there the last two games against Michigan and Wisconsin. If he is able to run again, they're a load - don't kid yourselves - and they'll beat Clemson. If not, Clemson wins going away.
