Air BNB vs VRBO

Posted by GITiger66 on 4/29/25 at 9:22 pm
Have a camp in Grand Isle that we are thinking about renting part time and wanted to get ideas of experiences with these two. Not looking to rent every weekend as we still use it a fair amount, but would like to help to defer some of costs. Own other long term rentals so familiar with the process, but wasn’t sure which of these two would fit best. The camp is mostly renovated and across street from beach with a yard. Pretty low maintenance. Not the nicest place on the isle (compared to some of the newer camps) but quiet and convenient. Thanks

Thank you. It’s for the jumper on a 24v troll motor. due to lack of space the batteries need to be about 4’ apart. will try FTB or David Wade

Looking to get my son (11yo) his first baitcaster. preferably something that’s easy to cast and won’t break the bank. Will be used in fresh and saltwater. Would appreciate any suggestions.
what an a-hole. its really sad that the other adults did not intervene. I mean you have to stand for something…

re: Seattle / Oregon Trip

Thanks guys! This has definitely peaked our interest and flights seem reasonable. any recs for specific areas to stay ? Thinking some of the islands would be cool for 2-4 days. will have two kids (11&14) and possibly grand parents. ideally stay in a nice vrbo. What about fishing or crabbing charter in the area? have a son that loves to fish.
tell him no. why is this even a post …

Seattle / Oregon Trip

Posted by GITiger66 on 3/13/25 at 4:28 pm
Considering a 12-14 day trip with the family this summer. Fly into Seattle and drive the Oregon coast then to Crater Lake. Just starting to look at this and would appreciate any input. We were originally planning to go to Maine, but now looking at other options.

Thanks,
