Louisiana. Wife is from New England. I went to college in Connecticut. We are just soooo done with Louisiana. We are both public sector employees and completely done with it. We want to live somewhere that has its stuff together.

My wife has a job offer and I’m looking. If we both land something, we are going to pull the trigger. We have a 3 year old boy. We are looking in the Manchester/Concord area but not actually IN either city. Looking for something in a small town close to either of those.
Anybody here spent a significant amount of time up there? Any suggestions?

Mark Wahlberg. Same height. Same build. Look similar

The only folks who don’t see a problem with Louisiana are basic bitches and low IQ types. Generally, these are the people whose lives revolve around deer season, crawfish, and wood ducks on tailgates. Louisiana has some great hunting and fishing but we can’t keep banking on these same things forever while the state sinks further into the abyss. Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, and others have passed Louisiana in quality of life.

Why does every product you buy now days want you to purchase a protection plan?

Doesn’t any company stand by their damn product anymore? No. I don’t want a 2 year protection plan for extra money. Manufacture a product that you can stand behind. Why does it fall on the consumer to now purchase additional protection for YOUR product. Yes I’m mad and poor.

5’8 and never had a problem in that department. It’s all about confidence. I had like 2 girls in college (out of dozens) that had an issue with my height and that’s because they were really short and just projecting their insecurities of being small onto the guy (me).
Even had this one chick who made it a point to point out my height at a football party as I was on our college team. She was like 5’1 (maybe) and Italian. Ended up spending the night in her dorm. Again, all about confidence. You could probably stand to lose some weight. 5’6 and 175 looks a lot taller than 5’6 and 200+

Gotta be better than getting our hopes up for nothing every season.

Say what you want about him but he was the only player on the offense that wanted to win that game.

Drew has been my favorite player in NFL history but it’s obvious that his arm isn’t there anymore. He’s rich and ready to retire. Draft some lineman, a big arse running back, and run a power run scheme with Hill. We ain’t winning shite with this roster. Also, let Kamara walk. Scared of contact. Let someone else overpay.

He’s been stopped the whole second half
re: How many of you would be serving during this potential conflict with Iran?

I served and went over the first time. If they call me back, I’d go but they should know I’m 50% disabled

That’s the only business Louisiana can attract. Gas station casinos and bars.

My dad to tell me he was proud of me and a genuine look of happiness in my accomplishments. Never happened. Even when I joined the Marines and got back from a deployment, he was pretty meh about all of it. To this day, I can’t recall a time he’s ever told me he was proud.
