I would definitly buy a Vortex, they are great scopes, but I would probably go a little higher than their crossfire - II series. I have a Diamondback which they may not still make, but it is a great scope.

I just read the article and the only evidence they site is that one scientist disagrees with NOAA about a winter in New York for one year. Other than that there is no evidence that they constantly manipulate data.

I don't necessarily believe in Global warming, but I do think our climate changes.

Interesting things have been written on why official weather stations should not be at Airports because they are surrounded by concrete. Also the impact of growing urban areas and concrete holding more heat. I think that does skew data.
In May I took my family out to go walk the dog. This included me, my wife (no pics), my 2 year old son, and dog. My dog was in the kennel in the back of my truck, I let the dog out to stretch its legs while I got my son out of the carseat. As soon as I got him out, this dude who was high as a kite had two pitbulls off leash making a beeline right for us. I told my wife to get my son back in the car and I grabbed my dog and got her back in the truck bed quick. These two dogs were trying to get at my dog all while jumping on my truck with their paws scratching the shite out of my truck.

The owner was in slow motion trying to get his dogs to stop, but they wouldnt because they were off least, and the dogs kept jumping up on my wife as she was getting my son in the truck. She finally did, but I had to stand there keeping my dog secure in the truck bed, because she wanted to go at it with these two pitbulls, and I mean this went on for a good two minutes. I was seeing red. The dude barely apologized and just walked away, got in his car and left.

I was so mad and concerned about my family I didn't even think about my truck. So once I cooled down I realized it was scratched to shite. And I never found the guy. I am not trying to sound like a hot head, but if I would have confronted the guy it would not have been good with all the dogs involved and my family.

Needless to say most of those dogs are aggressive and try to entice a fight.

PALH mafia? I aint heard that term.

But we did great, nine hunters and nine limits on opening day. I did not go today.
I only care about him being 1-0 in the W/L
Mine does this too. If it goes too shallow it starts blinking and doesn't come back on for a few minutes.
I actually had a similar experience last time I went on a charter trip with his outfit. The guide was not too happy we wanted to go after trout, and we caught none. As soon as we got out where we were trout fishing and knew it just was not going to happen, the guide made no change of plans.
My dad and I fished in Lafitte on a fall day a few years ago. Heading back home to Metairie we stopped at a red light on Transcontinental. It turns green, I pull forward and feel a thud. Get out and the pin that holds the trailer hitch to the truck slipped out... the spring clip that keeps it in place was nowhere to be found. Luckily it was an easy to get back on and we had a pair of vice grips to hold it in place till we got home.

To this day we think someone was being an arse at the launch and pulled the pin. What is scary is that we took the huey p home.
I remember leaving the stadium before halftime and taking my dad to Boggies just so we could be in the AC
Kuiu clothing

Matrix Shad

Death Grip Jigheads

Smith and Wesson guns

Versamax corks

I am twenty years younger than you, but I agree. My dad thought I was crazy when I told him that I did not really care for the movie.

I have an unnatural hatred towards Nutria. I would remove it.
Better than a spot lock trolling motor?
Stranger Things, I have tried on numerous occasions and I think I have seen the first season, but was just not interested in it at all.
My dad is one of the most handy, hardworking people I know. He is a good mechanic, average electrician, great with sheetrock/floating/carpentry, plumbing is is not half bad, and paints cars for a living the last 40 years.

But I swear tie down straps are like calculus to him  He cannot do them.
We used a guy named Gabe in Kenner to save some money. He definitely cost less, but also cost us a lot of money.

Dude was divorced and more worried about tail than fixing the boats properly. We have not brought the boat back. He cost us twice and never again.
