I think La La Land is a good example. That ending montage with their alternative life together is a gut punch but kind of beautiful in its own way.

That movie holds up.

Best ending would be Elijah Wood collecting all the surviving Yellowjackets and depositing them back at the crash site in the middle of winter to struggle until they inevitably perish.

Pretty much where I am too. Natalie was the only one I felt any sympathy for. Hope they're painful deaths at that. Especially with Shauna.

I think Hilary is one of the bird watcher/hikers who was hidden but recorded the groups screaming in the wilderness.

That would be great. Don't like the idea of more and more teammates just popping up in present day.

I'm guessing that maybe the team was discovered not because anyone was looking for them but maybe because they were looking for the birdwatchers (who I'm assuming the girls eat)?

present day Melissa.

Really? That would be disappointing. Was hoping Melissa got offed before they make it back.

I think Jeff ends up being Lottie's murderer (whether intentional or accident). Weird reaction when Shauna told him Lottie was dead and had scratches on his arm.

I think that might bode well for his future?

More interested to see who is screwing with Shauna.

Hope the cancer comes back for Van and Tai decides to off herself in response, solely so we don't have to spend any more time with them in the present day.

Helluva choice to promote Hilary Swank in the season previews and still not introduce her on the show. Any speculation as to who she could be?

It's a weird show. I watch the past events hoping Shauna somehow dies and then get reminded she, unfortunately, makes it off the island when they switch back to the present.
Just let Matthew Vaughn take a stab to see how utterly ridiculous it'll end up.

Is that actor doing anything now? I would think Louis would be the easiest character to just drop in LA if they wanted.
You're already there brother.

Pulled it together by the end, probably could have used some lead support vocals like they gave Paul Simon to take some of the strain off of him.

Still have a performance by Paul McCartney.

Tom Hanks with the random MAGA bullshite. Maybe that was the reason for the trouble I heard he was causing on the set of this.

Think that was more of a call back to the Black Jeopardy episode where Doug is in there and ends up winning over the host and the game.

I would get this type of reasoning in a sport with a salary cap, but in baseball, what does it really matter if the owner is willing to shell out some more?
