If your basing it on CWS final appearances and not the programs entire body of work, you have a good point, but Ron Polk farts in your general direction.

State has also earned appearances in 29 NCAA Baseball Regionals and made it to the College World Series 8 times, finishing as high as 3rd in 1985.

Well they obviously aren't talking about Atlanta or Omaha. We have been to both of those and Ole Miss hasn't. Maybe the answer was on the other side of the shirt.
