Their ace is done for the season
The problem with this is that it comes on the heels of them price fixing homeowners premiums - to which major carriers said screw you and pulled out - they are begging insurers to come back because citizens is oversaturated - what they are doing isn't forward thinking - it's covering up past mistakes - regardless an open market is needed - as it is everywhere

are you looking forward to the chance of playing in Norman?

I am. There is no stadium or environment that concerns me. We've been winning in the best of them for a hundred years.

my complaint at the time was the fastballs weren't up in the zone - think fastballs up and in (with the out pitch being up and away) and breaking low and away (not in dirt) would have worked
I see one as a turning point and the other a nail in the coffin
have a great relationship with both my parents and my in-laws - both handle inheritance the same way and I agree with it - separate property ownership goes to kids with usufruct to wife - community property goes to wife - dad picked mom a long time ago - hopefully for the right reasons - he made a promise (again hopefully) to her dad - just has always been my belief that mom gets everything and what's left after that is for the rest of us so it's my responsibility to assume I get nothing and what I do get is gravy but maybe that's just me - don't let money ruin a family - they are worth much more that that

eta - have watched my parents get stronger with more adversity - love them wholeheartedly and hope to provide the same example to my children

Also - framed copy and a wallet size of "If" by Rudyard Kipling - first saw it on a friend's bathroom mirror - his grandfather gave him one for the mirror to make sure he read it every morning, and gave the framed copy to always have visible in his room - words to live by

I second this and have told mine the same thing - oldest will be a senior next year - Italy it is
exactly - they were broken by the treaty - he was a light at the end of the tunnel for them - I'm as old school conservative as it gets - if you are going to impose those types of sanctions you better have the fortitude to enforce them - no one did so ww2 started the day ww1 ended - he was allowed to fill a vacuum and the rest is history

Don't care about NBA (or even college much) anymore but I did then - would have loved watching these 2 go at it for a long time
I choose not to live in those school districts so my children don't go there - I gladly pay high property taxes because I see those dollars at work in my kids schools - here people move to certain areas knowing they will get higher taxes but their kids will be better off for it because those taxes don't go into some statewide slush fund - that part always gets left out of this, and as a LA native, took me a while to grasp - it matters
Think Toyota has a way to switch to manual but not sure - all new trucks seem to have issues - mine included - would go back to the 3 in a tree I learned to drive on in a heartbeat right now

I have no idea what the answer to this question is, but I can tell you part of having a good marriage is still being allowed to hang out with your friends. Whether it’s a lot or a few is irrelevant.

My wife has her friends. I have my friends.

This is the answer - early on it was a lot - after 20+ years its fewer but the principle remains the same - you need time with the guys and she needs it with the girls
 - will rewatch tonight in honor of this - well played sir
done nola many times - lived there for quite a while - I'll take going back to my rural hometown and hanging out with old friends for several days in a tiny town that shuts down except bars, restaurants, and street concerts then capping it off with a courir every time

Offshore roustabout between undergarad and law school to make money for honeymoon. Loved the crew I worked with - all south Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama guys twice as old as me. After a hitch or 2 cleaning pig traps, etc spent my days platorm hopping with the field mechanic - could shut them down to the ground and bring them back up again - loved it

Almost everything does - after so many years its easier to just realize you are not in control of your house during that time (no one really is), let it go, and hang out with me, Chevy, his Dad, and JD for the holidays
