Something to note. Lions converting 32 million or so into a signing bonus and they freed up a ton of money. This may be your new Crosby suitor.

I just can’t feel like that’s not worth it to go get one of those dudes. Bailey or Styles game be game wreckers. I’d assume the board would have them way higher than someone like Tate or Lemon.

I don’t disagree but getting elite playmakers is what this team needs to do more so than worry about keeping every single pick. We need difference makers and we are lacking them.

If styles or Bailey fall to 5 and or 6 why on earth would Mickey not just make the jump? The cost wouldn’t be much. I’d say a 3rd next year could do it. But our needs our pretty obvious. Edge and Wr.
re: Franchise QB on a rookie deal is the secret sauce in the NFL

I think it’s a great position to be in but there isn’t many nfl QBs who’ve won a super bowl with a qb on a rookie deal. Mahomes and Wilson are your only ones. Finding your qb is the ticket and building a foundation around him but it’s rare a team gets it done within that rookie contract and it’s not the end all be all
re: I’m not sure this team is good enough to pay a RB what we just did Etienne.

Majority of this board was clamoring for us to draft a rb at pick 8 with any fix on the oline. Free agency opens and they sign a really underrated guard and a running back who’s a true home run threat and it’s a bad move? I don’t love the contract but it’s on par with what the market was yesterday. We didn’t set the market it was set for us. Yesterday was a success imo and they made two of the biggest issues on this team what appears to be a strength.
re: Great job so far in free agency aligning with the draft.

Mickey doesn’t need much reason to but this year is a great time to trade up. Browns need oline help and every one of the tackles should still be available at 8-10. This imo is the year you go get your guy. Go get Bailey, Reese, or whoever falls to that spot at 6 or even 5. I can’t imagine it would cost a ton and is truly rather them to get one of these top guys that will fall to that spot.

When Jalen Nailor signs for 3 years 35 million you’re going to see guys like TE get this. This has been wild seeing these contracts because they all seem like overpays.

I feel much more comfortable rolling them out there than i do with not replacing Jordan and adding another pass rusher

I believe this pretty much removes any idea of taking a rb at 8 off the board.

Very sneaky underrated signing. Hes not an all world guard but he’s pretty good at everything.

Likely, Allgeier, and gainwell all gone is disappointing. I’m beginning to brace myself for a very quiet free agency which i would eventually applaud them for.

2 years 22 mill for DD with the Jets. Only 15 million guaranteed. Wow. Seems like we truly just let him go if we didn’t want to match that

Thank you DD for everything you’ve done here. Thank you for signing with Jets where you will never hear your name for anything good ever again. Great career and enjoy your money my man!

This is an incredible overpay and I’m not sure why this would scare anyone. The guy is injury prone snd has never eclipsed 10 sacks in an entire season in his career.

LSU fans in general and especially lsu baseball fans are the worst most entitled, spoiled, and idiotic fans in all of sports.

When did people start getting dinged for not doing drills at the combine? Some teams now don’t even send their coach or gm to the combine. Most of these guys workout at their pro day with coaches and other players they’re familiar with. Not sure how not working out has become a thing that makes a team not want to take a player.

I think if his route running is elite he can be as productive but they’re very different players. Olave has elite speed.

How small do you have to be to think 190 lbs at 6’2-1/2” is good size. He’s lean and lanky and they talked about that during his combine workout
