Basically the redzone offense has been good, but not great.

You really should check it before you say something stupid like that

I love Moss! I hope he comes back but I seriously doubt it.

I don't know how he still has a job. He undermines his own credibility regularly.

Sorry, I don't buy that UGA is the best OLine that we have faced. I get that they're rated highly on paper. But do you honestly think that UGA is the best OLine we faced all year? I don't.

And LSU at 30th ranked seems pretty low to me for a unit that just won the Joe Moore award.

I'm no expert like many of you guys on this board, but I'm a firm believer that experience and years in the weight room can't be discounted on the LOS, and Clemson has 4 experienced seniors on the OLine.

When is the last time we had 4 seniors on the line? I honestly don't know, but I'm pretty sure it's been a while.

You can say all you want about the competition they have played, but that's not the only reason Etienne is averaging 8yds a pop.

I know our DLine and front seven in general is outstanding, but it could be a factor in the game.

Im not saying we can't do it or won't...I think it's more likely LSU wins in a blowout than it being a close game

Clemson's Offensive Line

Posted by RobbDobb on 1/11/20 at 9:57 am
I don't remember reading any real discussion on this board about this, which is why I'm bringing this up.

This Clemson OLine is very likely the best we have faced this year and quite possibly the best we have faced in the last 2 years.

These guys are huge, a lot of beef up front, but what really stands out is their experience. They have 4 seniors, three of whom have no redshirt years. Their one underclassman is a supremely talented 330 lb left tackle. At least 4 of these guys are likely to be drafted.

I'm not sure how many combined starts they have, but it's nearly the same line that Bama couldn't handle in last year's game with another year of development.

I will not be surprised if Clemson tries to control the clock similar to Florida, but with a heavy dose of power running, to keep our offense off the field. If they are successful on defense and get a couple stops in the first half, and our defense is gassed in the second half, it could become a shootout in the fourth quarter and may be Clemson's best chance to win.

If our front seven can handle their OLine and shut this down early, it may be a long day for Clemson.

You had a lot more experience on the dline last year. I'm not talking about talent. But that extra year or two of development in the weight room makes a huge difference for dlinemen. So, you probably won't have a lot of success in getting to the qb if you try rushing 4 or 3.

And, Burreaux is much better than Tua at post snap reads, so you blitz at your own peril.

And, we have so many nfl caliber players in the backfield and on the perimeter that we can't get them all on the field at one time in any combination. That plus Joe's accuracy and pocket awareness coupled with the best oline in the country means you're not likely to get coverage sacks either.

And Joe is the most accurate passer in ncaa history, so when a receiver gets open, he's going to hit them on the money.

As for the difference in ppg between last year's bama and this year's Lsu, there have been way too many games that were over by halftime for that stat to mean anythimg other than both teams scored a ton of points.

Then he needs to keep mismanaging, because this is a damn strong class already, and we ain't done yet.
He would have moved him to fullback

They're overflowing with objectivity.

Exactly...it's either a boldfaced lie, or it's a biased assessment. Either way Hancock and the committee deserve to have their asses handed to them.
He relies strictly on stats...I'm pretty sure he hasn't watched a single LSU game this year.
It didnt just stand...it was confirmed a catch
