Looking forward to good ol' fashioned starch-off in Nola when the corn dogs take on the taters

Like to think my takes are pretty fair haha, happy with where we're at but am also aware that at some point we will regress back into the Tommy Bowden-ish level which I grew up watching, so just along for the ride while we have it.
Interested to see if we can move the ball early against tOSU and vice versa. I think our safeties are vulnerable, and our d line is not going to supply all the pass rush like we've had in previous years.
Excited to watch it all play out!

Falling from #1 to #3 and having to play out west is frustrating, however, the possibility of playing LSU in Nola for the NC is big time.
Having been able to bounce around to to the various playoff games over the last couple of years, the time we had at the 2017 Sugar Bowl was by far the most fun of them all, despite the arse kicking we received from the bammers.
Hopefully we can see the best 2 teams in the nation tee it up in the Superdome! Joey B vs. T Law

Care to join us on the "0 quality wins" train my friend?

Dude have you not heard of the high profile matchup between the presumably 10-0 Clemson Tigers and the 9-1 Wake Forest Demon Deacons next week???
Major NC implications!

Ok yes I see now how that's not possible-
Still intrigued by the scenario.

Bama, LSU, & UGA Finish 12-1

Just curious-
Suppose LSU beats Bama (or vice-versa) in a close game, then proceed to win out the regular season, but fall to a 12-1 UGA in the SEC Championship Game.
Obviously, the SEC champ gets in, but where does that leave the CG loser? Will they be punished for losing an extra game, and would the CFP look to avoid a rematch a few weeks later?
Assuming Ohio State and Clemson remain undefeated, I couldn't see a situation where both make it, but if Ohio State drops the B10 CG, it's possible we could see a 3 team SEC - Clemson Playoff.
Food for thought!

re: All this talk by SEC network/ESPN/everybody else about 'UGA gonna run over ND' is crazy

Georgia has too many horses to lose this game.
Why is Ian Book getting so much attention for his scrambling ability? He's a capable runner but based on the media coverage you'd think he was Johnny Football

re: If Ala, Ga or LSU played Clemson’s schedule?

I love this argument, this board was brought to my attention from one of my Georgia friends
I think it's fairly obvious that the ACC is not a good conference overall this year. Florida St, Miami, VT, Tech, and Louisville being down is not a good look. Clemson cannot control the schedule and we'll continue to play it out and take our chances week after week. I don't doubt that Alabama/Georgia would have any problems with our schedule, similarly to how they had virtually no problems last year in their respective divisions.
However, I don't buy into the narrative that the week in week out grind of an SEC schedule would be to Clemson's disadvantage. Just based off of Georgia and Bamas dominance in conference the last couple of years. This is not 2007 when the SEC was head over heels the most dominant conference in the land.
And yes I have enough self awareness to realize that I am on an SEC board, but I enjoy chopping it up with some real passionate football fan bases, which is lacking in the ACC of late.
Final thought; how the hell is Florida ranked in the top 10? Did anyone watch that Miami game?
