All the talk about how bad LSU is at season openers. Let’s take a look at Clemson’s past 2 season openers:

Ace: 4pts (2/4 fg) 4 reb 3 ast
I know it is just one game but Queen is a monster. Dating back to his days at Monteverde, him and Flagg had nearly identical stats. This guy is a hooper and has a way better attitude than Ace. Flock up!

Obviously a lot of people are upset, but I am actually happy and excited. Dumars is taking risks and actually trying to be proactive to help a franchise rather than sitting there and do nothing. Ever since the franchise was established, we have been mainly inactive in free agencies, trades, and drafts. Although it is a risk, it is a risk that could pay off. For example, the flashiness of players like Poole and Fears have the ability to excite a city. Also, Queen has the potential to be a non-traditional big man that could make a huge difference. You are never going to go anywhere in this league if you don’t take risks. I support dumars.

I support him for actually trying something different and taking a risk. For years this franchise has been boring and picked boring players in every single draft. I like the flashiness of Fears and Queen. It is something to look forward to and be excited about. Neither us or the bucks will be in the lottery next year…
