I’ve got you beat by 1 year. My first game was 10/26/68 against TCU. My dad won season tickets for that season and took each child to one game. LSU won 10-7. Our family listened to the games on the radio but this was the first time any of us got to go to a game. My dad and I bonded over LSU sports, especially football and baseball. The last game he saw was the 2003 National Championship on TV. He passed away in June 2004. I miss him everyday but especially when I attend LSU football and baseball games.

Didn’t kickoff until 5:45.

This. It is inexcusable to run out of cold water at any game, but particularly one where the forecast was for temperatures in the mid 90s and heat index in the 100s. LSU should have some sort of misters or something installed in the corridors of the east side of the stadium where the fans are in the sun for the entire game where the kickoff is 2:30 or earlier. My husband and I are in our mid sixties and have had season tickets on the east side since the 1980s. We have sat through many day games in the heat but yesterday it would have been dangerous for us to sit through that game. We gave away our tickets and parking pass but I have no idea whether they were actually used and I really don’t care. I suppose it will take having a player/coach/official die of a heat related illness for the networks to realize that playing football at 2: 30 pm in South Louisiana is a health risk for the players, coaches, officials and fans. Perhaps we should require the game announcers to call the game sitting in the sun so they can appreciate just how hot it is at these day games.
Is 314 street parking along S Stadium Drive? Thanks
Do you have any parking passes for sale for the S. Alabama game? I am looking to buy one. Thanks
I am interested in the parking pass for the S. Alabama game. I am in Baton Rouge and can meet you with cash. Email me at cpeck@daiglefisse.com. Thanks.

WTB Parking for LSU USC in Vegas

Looking to buy a parking pass within half a mile of stadium. Prefer a pass that is available to be delivered upon payment. Many of the secondary market sites say delivery will be made by 8/31 and would rather not wait until day before game to get parking. Thanks.

Are these still available and will you be able to transfer immediately? I am looking to buy a parking pass but the resale sites with parking tickets (seat geek for example) say ticket will be delivered by 8/31. Not willing to buy something that can’t be delivered when payment is made. Thanks.

“lol imagine having 7 national titles and still being so insecure that you have to troll a lowly ACC school’s fanbase an hour after squeaking out a win over Wofford.”

I assume this was posted before UNC squeaked out a win over LIU at home.
Looks like A&M fans cheering for ULaf doesn’t look like alot of ULaf fans either.
Aggies who bought regional ticket books may not have sold their tickets to the Texas-ULaf game to keep Texas fans from buying them. Looks like Texas has fans in tickets provided by NCAA but that is it.
The City of St. George will not provide funding for a new school system - that will come from property taxes within the school district. The City of Central does not fund the Central Community School District; it is funded by property taxes collected within the school district. Central voters did approve additional property taxes to support the school system but the city of Central does not assess a property tax mileage, has not raised taxes since its incorporation and it has a budget surplus. St. George plans to use the same government model as Central.
I respect Clark’s basketball abilities but don’t find her particularly likable. Her telling the WVA crowd to shut the F up during a game was pretty trashy and her own father told her during a game to quit whining about the refs and no calls. She also did the “you can’t see me” many times before Angel did it to her in the championship game. She talks as much trash as the LSU players but for some reason she gets a pass from the press.
Go listen to the postgame press conference where Kim Mulkey blasted an LA Times articles that IMHA defamed the LSU women’s basketball team. Kim called the USA reporter by name and said she should write a story about the LA Times article. Kim made no comment about the WAPI article except to say she hadn’t read it, may not read it but would have her attorneys read it.
If the reporter has been working on the story for 2 years, as some are saying, then the catalyst wasn’t what happened at the SEC tourney 2 weeks ago. It was Mulkey coming to coach at LSU and posing a legitimate threat to Dawn Staley’s “dynasty.” Not surprising the reporter who is alleged to be writing the story is a S. Carolina grad.
Try going on ticket exchange there are often tickets for sale for individual games. You may have to buy 2 pairs but the prices are usually much closer to face value than the secondary market.
I sat behind your Uncle at the old Alex Box and on the same row as him at the new Alex Box. He was a wonderful man and a great LSU baseball fan. Sorry for your loss and may he rest in peace.
