I have 2 crazy ideas pertaining to STTDB.
1. Interrupt the DB in STTDB with a sound affect of some sort. Could be funny if they do that with a HEEEEY sound effect...
2. Ask the students to learn STTDB in French. Could be funny AND cultural.
And also get rid of the piped in music by 80%.

Exactly. Have the due diligence and ask around and get a feel for what players and other coaches have about him. Just saying NO is ridiculous.

Negative recruiting by other teams has going on for a very long time. Kids today care about $$$ and getting to the NFL.
Does anyone here know exactly what was in those emails? From what I have researched, he never used the "N" word and was more of a joke than anything racist.
Tampa took down his name from there Ring of Honor after the scandal but ultimately put it back up. If what he said was truly racist, do think Tampa would have done that?

We just fired a coach with a great resume exclusively in college. Didn't work out, did it?
What does any of that have to do with knowing football?

You seem softer than our OL. Get over yourself....
If he can coach X's and O's, does it really matter that he hasn't coached in college in years? College players ultimately want to play in the NFL. So a coach with an impressive NFL resume(Superbowl championship) would make sense.

Good points. Thank you. Although, in today's college football landscape, in my opinion, it's about the $$$ not what someone said in a text. Anybody else have pros or cons?

As horrible as it is to say, Charlie died as a martyr on the alter of Liberty. I would much rather him still be here, but this despicable act could be the catalyst to rid this country of maniacs who are trying to destroy it.

We were at the Soldier Field show. Greatest show I've ever been to. An incredible mix of male and female, young and old. The sound was crystal clear and loud. The crowd singing overtook the PA at times.
It always was and always will be about the great songs and how they make you feel.
And the brothers being back together.

I have read this entire thread and it's clear that the Catholic Church is in peril because most parents are more worried about sports teams and proms than giving their children the tools they NEED to live strong Catholic lives and to fight evil.
The comments I have read confirm that the Second Vatican Council(1962-1965) reforms have "watered down the true Faith" to a level that Catholics have become APATHETIC to it's teachings. That's why, in my opinion, people today see NO difference between the TRUE church and other wanna be churches.
Today, more than anytime in history, children are in dire need for their parents to guide them in the right direction. Whether you believe or not, your children are begging for your guidance! NOTHING is more important than God, Jesus Christ and his Blessed Mother..
Stop being friends and become Mom and Dad!
