I follow a few different boards similar to this one and I've come to notice that there is usually one poster just like Bob on all of them. Someone who denies things that are right in front of their face.

Political hacks. Paid for opinions.

The funny part about it is the #resist types have absolutely nothing to stand on at this point so their input has become patently absurd by now. 2+2=\=4

Pathetic.
IMO we need two new parties to form. We need a Libertarian Party and a Socialist Party (or maybe a different name. They may prefer Communists). The danger I see in things currently is that the Democrats have fricked themselves over so badly that the entire party is in danger of collapsing. This isn't good. Single party systems are incredibly dangerous.

This whole bullshite false left/right paradigm needs to go away. The best way to do this is to somehow get two more parties in the ring. It serves to force the main parties (R&D) to form coalitions while legislating, which is a good thing.

I would propose splitting the current parties in half. Give the fringe elements their own party.

Can't speak to where he is at right now, but I do believe that in the near future he will be in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
What gets me are the people that still work for these scumbags. You would think that these people could do about 2 minutes of research and determine its a terrible idea. 12 former bodyguards dead.

Idiots. They must think that they're special and whatever happened to everyone else couldn't possibly happen to them.
Considering the fact that the feds ordered everyone to obstruct justice and destroy evidence it's hard to say what frickin happened. Pisses me off.

Witnesses say that when the shot was fired, the guy behind the bar ripped his shirt off revealing an FBI vest under his shirt.

There is more to this than meets the eye. Obviously. Unfortunately, we also know that the FBI is corrupt. Has been since its inception. And lately they have become more corrupt than even J. Edgar Hoover could imagine. Openly subversive even!

I still think they need to tear that entire organization apart and create a new agency.
George Washington and some of our other founders are portrayed as honorable men. I've also always had the feeling Teddy Roosevelt was a good man as well. Although, it's hard to say for sure as these guys were in charge a long time ago.

Another thing to consider is that politicians are often put into lose-lose situations that may taint their character somewhat. So it's hard to say for sure, but near as I can tell, Donald Trump, for all his hubris and bravado, seems to be a damn good dude. Just gotta grant him some slack for having that mouthy New Yorker come out often.
quote:

Well, I wouldn’t say clean, but he is Teflon as frick.

I disagree. I think he's clean. I watched some documentary about him on Netflix awhile back. Can't remember the name, but it followed him back to when he was a young adult up through now.

It was interesting to me because I don't know if we have ever had a President who was more well known than Trump. His entire adult life has been spent in front of a camera it seems.

Anyways, everyone knows that when he had Trump tower built that it was built with the cooperation of the mob. Trump had to approach them to get ahold of all the concrete needed to build his tower. (The entire structure is made of concrete. It's one of a kind.) Anyways, all the way back then his family was insulating him from dealing with shady people. The mobsters had to go through his family members. Donald Trump wouldn't deal with them.

He has been preparing for this for a long time and I'm fairly certain that although he has rubbed plenty of elbows with dirty people by now (Clinton's, Epstein, etc) he himself hasn't stepped one single toe outside the boundaries of the law. Because if he had he would not be President right now. He would have been impeached.
She's a known slave trader at this point. It isn't just the photos of steering girls towards a rapist, but her "school" in South Africa or wherever that seems to have operated as a brothel. Or worse.

She's scum.

ETA: She also had a role in a little known "sex cult" that was being ran down in South America. The dude that ran that was called John of God. This dude had women chained up in grass huts for people to come and rape whenever they wanted. When the woman became pregnant, the baby was ripped out of their bellies leaving the woman to die and then they'd sell off the child.

Oprah did a show about this guy. Telling everyone how wonderful he was. She played up the idea that he was some sort of healer. So women were pilgrimaging from all over the world to this guy to be healed of this or that, only to be raped, tortured and killed.
I think this is something we should consider.

Here's how I see it. The ice sheets advance and retreat. They have done this since forever. So on its face this idea seems absurd. Why would we try to stabilize the ice sheet to prevent sea level rise? The sea level is always rising.

The reason is because a clever-enough person could potentially stabilize all of that and geo-engineer weather to our liking. For everyone, everywhere. Think Back to the Future 2 when Doc Brown tells Marty that the rain is going to stop in 5 seconds. Well, that's possible and stabilizing the poles seems like a reasonable place to start.

JMO

ETA: This would have to be just one step in a larger plan though. Other things would need to be done such as digging extremely large canals to channel water melting from the North Pole south towards the more arid areas of the planet. Massive public works projects.
Depends on your perspective. If you are a Team Never Trump type, Mueller may be the best man for the job. As it appears to me and many others, Mueller is more of a fixer than anything else. Dude is as corrupt as the day is long.
I read an article on this. Apparently the phrase has several different uses. In the first case that he used it it was a polite way of telling the congresswoman from Texas to frick off. Later on when he uses it he is saying, "theoretically this is an answerable question, but I don't know the answer." All depends on the context of the dialogue.
