LSU is still paying him what he’s owed right now and has negotiated a buyout of a lump sum which is very much normal in these situations.

This lawsuit is based off of allegations that LSU is trying to fire him for cause, NOT that they are as that hasn’t happened. Why is everyone assuming Kelly isn’t getting paid? It’s wild.

Closer doesn’t mean capable. Ole Miss just isn’t capable to do so. I’d be willing to bet my house they don’t win it this year either and that’s with striking lightning in a bottle with a D3 QB that’s lighting up SEC defenses and saved Ole Miss’s season.

100% agree. It seemed as if we ran the ball better when it was obvious Nuss was healthy again. Durham had multiple good runs and the line did the best they have all year opening holes. We averaged 6.0 ypc last night and not just because of Johnson’s 56 yard run.

Also, Nuss definitely had zip on his passes again and the whole field opened up, I take this as a game 1 type situation for the offense as it’s the first game where the whole field is in play. Purely speculation but I think they will get better as season goes on.


Edited to add about the two goalie turnovers. One was a great defensive play and bad timing for us as the guy punched the ball out as soon as Johnson reached for end zone. The 2nd was a good defensive scheme against rpo, having linebacker loop around end right before snap and safety replacing him post snap.

What’s impressed me with him is in watching a highlight tape from his sophomore year you see that he’s hitting digs, crossers, comebacks, posts and not just verts. He also seems to actually go thru a progression on receivers already, and I’ve seen him climb the pocket a few times. Very impressive for a high school kid.

Probably the best option. With the Clemson win, we are in a great spot right now for the playoffs. We can afford basically 2 losses in next 10 games. I’m not saying we lose to Florida because Moore would be out, but a loss doesn’t kill our playoff chances as much now. I still think we can handle Florida without him as our defense is going to suffocate Lagway and that offense. Lagway is too inexperienced to handle our blitz schemes and not all that mobile to evade them either. It’ll be a low scoring game and hopefully we can turn them over enough to pull it out.

4 of the 5 starting positions are locked in. It’s 1 fricking spot - LG. And it’s 3 guys fighting for the spot.

Can we stop melting like this isn’t normal for most teams right now to still be having position battles going into week 1.

Starllink Roam for RVers. Not sure how good it is but only have heard great things about the starlink home service.

One of the strengths of this defense is the depth of the defense line. 1st or 2nd team means nothing on our defensive line. We have 4 guys that could start at defensive tackle plus some others that will play on goal line (Mitchell). We also have 3 edges that are starters. Our backup linebackers are Keys and Singleton - Keys started games as true freshman last year and will be in heavy rotation with West the starter. Singleton is having best camp of the linebackers not named Perkins or Whit. The front 7 will be heavily rotating this year.
