So now, I guess the only other thing would be do we focus on Johnson or Evans at Rb

Lol here y'all go again.. believing someone's words w/o getting the full story. If he had an issue with authority and LSU didn't care for it.. why was he not kicked off the team? And why was Orgeron hoping to get him back? Let's get the facts first, then come back to it
re: With Kelvin Joseph leaving, who is left from that 2018 recruiting class contributing?

And you're getting downvoted for needing to acknowledge that you downvoted someone.

Hey.. don't get mad at me. I'm just agreeing with the other guy lol

No one said they wanted him. Still doesn't make him a bad player tho

Someone gets it

I guess that means a lot of superstars with no supporting casts back in the day aren't winners either then. This man had Harden and KD and Got beat by my favorite teams big 3 (Miami Heat) in the Finals. He had PG sure.. but look at every conference finals and finals teams last yr. What'd they have? Superstars and a supporting cast. Something... as I keep saying... Westbrook did not have.

8 years of stats that prove... DING DING DING! This guy is pretty good at what he does.. I was LITERALLY making a point about him being a good teammate.. and pat what Melo said then.. since it's of the utmost importance. Lol. And no one cares about what i'm saying yet... here you are.. giving your 0 cents to what I'm saying..duck. So.. ppl don't criticize players with 3p numbers like that right? No.. you're unreal. I never asked you to respond anyways lol. Stfu

And you have named yours accurately bc your brain must be pea sized if you haven't seen what I've been saying. You act as if he's dead on..and he's not. Now.. watcha got?

But they're better than most, but the fact that he's "dropped off" and still averages a triple double still says something... does it not? And what GMs are giving him the cold shoulder? Last I checked.. teams have been interested in trading for him.. what are you talking about? And you proved exactly what I was saying "freakishly athletic".. that's what Westbrook is and that's what I've been trying to prove.
Also.. I never said I wanted us to trade for him. The Pels wanna go younger.. so obviously he wouldn't fit. I'm just trying to figure out why there's so much hate for this man.

I just said that doesn't matter to my point, did I not? And did you not read my post? I asked if 30's to lower 40 was any better, did I not? And obviously you didn't read into what I was saying about the rebounding.

But PPg, APg, RPG, SPG are up there but go on. And I'm sure. I'll believe anything someone posts on TD over the main sources. I'm sure you (the only one I've heard have that sentiment) are 100% correct. Just like it was dumb for us to take Lonzo and 2 unproven players but...here we are. And he actually has proven that btw. Twice. I know I just said that. But go ahead and believe what you will. Guess Jrue being 29 and turning 30 means he's gonna slide for us next yr then. Don't become a GM

He's still capable, check the stats, yes they most definitely are. If you actually look, they're saying there are teams who are interested provided he does indeed want to be traded, yes I'd say it makes sense to acquire him. KD left bc he was ring chasing, and PG again..still said that it's all love b/w the 2 of them. Meaning he doesn't think Westbrook was a bad teammate but I like how you just tried to reach and assume that's why he left. And that last part made no sense. You can break up with someone and still respect/be friends with them. Yes.. you could slam her. That's literally a thing nowadays that ppl do. Your logic makes no sense whatsoever. Just like there was bad blood once KD left

So even 30's are good? Low 40's? And I did. Still doesn't matter nor goes against my point

KD lied and told him he was returning. KD was ring chasing. That's not on Westbrook. You forget that PG could've bailed on him last season when he was a free agent. Dude could've joined Lebron to play with his hometown and childhood team the Lakers, but he stayed. Was not Westbrook's fault that OKC traded him and PG and Westbrook just said it was all love b/w the 2 of them but continue. Lol y'all seem to forget Westbrook and KD were one round away from being in the championship before getting knocked off by the team KD would later join. And Lebron is on the wrong side of 30, but the difference? At least one of them didn't scare off Kawahi, Kyrie, Paul George, KD, Kemba, Klay, etc all in 2 straight free agencies. Just saying
And to add to that. At least one of them didn't have to have half his team traded to keep up with Golden State. And at least he didn't do OKC what AD did to us. Even if y'all don't agree with anything I'm saying, at least we as Pels fans can agree the way AD went about wanting to leave was wrong
Fyi Lebron at 30 25.3 Ppg 48.8% 6.0 Rpg 7.4 Apg
Westbrook at 30 22.9 Ppg 42% 11.1 Rpg 10.7 Apg. Either way.. those numbers for both are incredible to say they're on the wrong side of 30

quote:
“No one cares. We’d rather it be him [getting the rebound],” Steven Adams told ESPN’s Royce Young in December. “I like it because I can actually box out my dude. It’s good that he actually gets to come in and take it. I don’t mind it.”
And this part isn't a response to you.. but to whomever said he wasn't a good teammate... if nothing else this proves otherwise. Your team (coach and players alike) trusts you that much that they are willing to give up going for the rebound so you can hopefully grab them. If a team didn't respect him or didn't consider him a good teammate I'm willing to bet they wouldn't give a damn about the team's strategy to get him the ball

I thought you meant big men on opposing teams. Be that as it may.. how many other teams have the same strategy? Literally have seen the same thing done dozens of times, so let me ask this: how is it that his rebounding numbers end up still being higher than other guys in his position that have incorporated the same strategy? And even with that said strategy.. it is not necessarily a guarantee that anyone else in his position could still win those rebounds. Number inflation or not.. the fact 5 this man can even have those numbers should still be alarming. How many players in the league can say that they could do what Westbrook does? And if you can pass the ball..then you can pass the ball. You keep saying "it goes beyond the box score" so what is it? I'm confused as to what y'all want this man to do lol. If one can dish out the ball to another and 5 player scores.. does that not mean that man facilitated the ball? Maybe I'm confused as to what you're trying to say but my overall point is.. even with all of what y'all are saying. Even with the "knick knacks" and ppl knit picking at his stats.. how many players... put in his shoes and the same system.. would be able to garner the same stats? Better yet.. think about this: Who does RW even have on his team that could help him? Even when he had PG.. that was it. Before PG, he had that PG from the Pacers. He doesn't have the squad and support that say Lebron, Curry, Kyrie, KD, Harden have. The point is.. to say this man doesn't have the supporting cast they do.. for him to be able to do what he's doing is downright insane. Who else do you know of that could do that? Hell Kobe was known all around to be a ball hogger and whatnot and he still didn't have those numbers that Westbrook have. If we're gonna knit pick..knit pick at all other superstars stats. Even Curry's numbers are inflated. Look up his percentages for uncontested vs. contested 3p shots and I bet you'll see a different story. Lebron doesn't really shoot 3's. AD wasn't perfect.. he couldn't really shoot 3's either. I'm not saying Westbrook is perfect bc he's not but let's not act as if any other regular players in the league could do what he does given the same system and the same players with the same strategies
