Beat Alabama and we are in the CFP with 2 loses. If we lose that game then it would be nearly impossible without beating Clemson.

The big winner in expansion was the SEC. It grabbed the entire Texas market along with huge chunks of bordering states of western Arkansas and western Louisiana. A&M was enough to negate the negative addition of Missouri which was just plain dumb.

No because A&M delivers the essential Texas market while Tech offers nothing. You could not pick a worse expanion partner.
