I’m not 100% but it being a sweet crude only refinery seriously handicaps profits and potential. Lots of upgrades need to be done to make it a competitive site to Garyville and Norco.
It means they won’t be making fuel. Most other units will also shutdown as well. Maybe some hydrotreating units may stay up but with pipelines limited I doubt that’s gonna happen either.
