In country no, in training, yes. Spent about a month with them training in and around Nimes, France. They are less functional than a USMC grunt battalion, so probably on par with the Army. A lot of guys that don't have shite to lose but are some of the nicest dudes.

Over the past 2 years only 12/32 teams that have played a week 0 game have won the following week. A week 0 game has almost no impact on the following week of play.

But you also have to think, even without the FSU game, all SEC teams have played a harder schedule than any other conference.
I don't think SEC falls into the category as a TCU or Oregon with out of conference games.
Championship teams do win those games though:
Clemson/Auburn 2016
Alabama/FSU 2017
Clemson/A&M 2018
LSU/Texas 2019
Alabama/Conference only 2020
UGA/Clemson 2021

I DID do it, for about 20k a year in mold infested barracks rooms, seeing my family once to twice a year, and "food" that is served in prisons. When you do it, I'll respect your opinion.
