Agreed, although there was a large vocal group on tRant saying that the expansion would ruin college football because it would make the regular season games less significant. In what world does keeping more teams in the hunt decrease fanbase interest?

I don't appreciate that they took a cheap shot at LSU, implying that we selfishly overused him and risked his career. That's complete BS. In fact, we were more than conservative and the coaches used metrics. In the final game we just used him as a threat, and didn't even allow him the honor of throwing a few closing pitches in the championship,when he was ready to go and really wanted to.

Other programs use their pitchers like cannon fodder when the stakes are high.

Stilll, they did say we were one of the best baseball programs in the nation.
