Thanks for the responses. I’m currently in a ‘21 f150 with the powerboost hybrid engine. Fuel mileage in town is 23-34, but interstate travel is around 19-20. Getting close to 100k on the odometer, so thinking of changing it up.

I spoke to the dealer and he said all recalls are up to date. Clean Carfax and less than 15k miles. Non smoker 1 owner. Planning on seeing it Friday.

Thanks guys!

Truck Board: 2025 Tundra SR5

Morning fellas.

Looking at a low mileage 2025 Tundra SR5 4x4. I know Toyotas have the reputation of being reliable and long lasting vehicles with great resale value. Anyone here own or have knowledge of this model? I won’t be able to get to drive it until Friday, but wanted to know somethings to check for.
Looking for recommendations for a possible trip to New Mexico over the Christmas break. We were planning on North Carolina, but the flooding seems to have impacted enough of the area to make us have to change destinations.

The kids want to see snow and tube down slopes. My wife has been to Red River, NM as a teen, but we aren’t sure of what areas are worth visiting. Really just need a nice place to lounge with some type of outdoor activity.
Just getting back to the thread.

My sprinklers are fed by the septic system. These aren’t for irrigation purposes.

We don’t have any sinks or tubs that don’t get used regularly, so I’ll rule out the p traps being dry.

I’ve read about the wax ring possibly being bad and possibly the vent pipe could be clogged.

Regardless, I called a plumber and they will be out here Tuesday to inspect the system. While I was at it, I scheduled a septic pump out. I’ll check the aerator tomorrow.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I just can’t understand why the smell is only in our master bath.

Septic smell in master bathroom

Posted by drfeelgood on 12/28/23 at 7:53 pm
About a week ago we started smelling an odor in our master bath. It has progressed to outside of our home and when our sprinklers discharge, it smells terrible.

What are some things I should look at before calling a plumber, or am I beyond that and need to call asap?

“We have an old saying in Munich, it’s “Get the frick out!””

Never gets old lol
Whoa….forgot how testy you frickers can be.

Let me be clear….I do enjoy the show as it is. Baby Billy is hilarious. The story lines are good.

I was a huge fan of shows like Breaking Bad. I think Gemstones could use the same story lines with a dramatic/suspenseful tone.
I binged 2 seasons this weekend and as much as I liked the show, I kept wondering what if it was done in the same style as Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul.

For the most part the story lines have been good, but the college humor seems to make some scenes fall flat.
None of those brands generated any revenue and were head scratchers to begin with.

How to get clover out of my lawn?

Posted by drfeelgood on 4/7/23 at 8:39 pm
Need some help. I seeded the front lawn with centipede 3 years ago. At times it looks good, but I’ve got areas that I can not get clover out of.

My front lawn gets a lot of morning and mid-day sun if that helps anything.

What’s out there that will reduce the clover so my centipede will take over the rest?
Y’all do realize that Miller/Coors is owned by InBev, right? The interest within the US was sold to Molson Coors due to monopoly rules, but globally InBev owns everything.

Search Miller Lite Pride or Coors Light Pride and they also have rainbow packaging supporting LGBTQ.

Broken Bow Recommendations

Posted by drfeelgood on 2/20/23 at 9:21 pm
The wife and I will be up there March 10th and 11th. With our schedules that’s all we could squeeze in. Just wanted some ideas for lunch/dinner. We are hoping for warmish weather so we can see some sights. Any recommendations would be great.

It’s different ones. One controlled my daughters room, one that controlled the back wall of the kitchen, and the latest one controlled the smoke detectors. they all went out at different times. When they start going out, they typically trip every few days and gradually get to multiple times a day.

Is it possible to switch to a ground fault breaker? They’re cheaper than the arc faults.

How long should breakers last?

Posted by drfeelgood on 1/16/23 at 5:37 pm
Our home is 4 years old. Over the last 6 months, I’ve had to replace 3 arc fault breakers. They run about $75 each. I have a Cutler Hammer panel and it uses Eaton breakers.

My wife is concerned we have some electrical problems, but if the breaker trips, then it’s doing it’s job.

Should I chalk this up to “they don’t make things like they use to” or seek a professional?
