Mate we must cheer for Novak.

How can anyone cheer for someone else?
If Jordon never entered the equation he would be a great candidate but since she is apart of the equation, no NFL team can seriously consider employing him
Kubiak didn’t really get fired here

Lot of whispers that Josh was Team Brandon Beane and that was part of the decision to fire McDermott.

Pegula said that Allen wasn’t asked and had no input on the decision to fire McDermott

LOL
Look at the press conference today and think Pegula has any idea what’s going on

I have two choices right now, as I can’t see the future : Assume tigerdroppings knows more about who controlled bills personnel Or Assume bills ownership knows more about who controlled bills personnel

Those are not the only two choices

What it seems is actually the case based on this report from Ian Rappoport is that McDermott didn’t think the team was talented enough while ownership disagreed.

I would imagine inside the bills ownership knows who had the majority of personnel control

Guess that settles it, no way the organization could be making a mistake

And beane said no I also am curious about the midseason trade for a wr and if McDermott vetoed it.

Clearly you haven’t kept up. McDermott was pissed that Jax made a move for Jakobi Meyers while all Beane could do was pick up Cooks and Hardman

Beane is just as responsible if not more so for the Bills failures

different coach wasn’t going to stop Allen from spotting opponents scores and turning the ball over in scoring range.

Different coach probably could have come up with a scheme to stop KC for 13 seconds though

The only retarded thing is that they didn’t do this sooner

GM needs to go too

G5 Championship was played on Friday night in New Orleans

in what should be the 12 best football teams in the country

Why? Do we get the 68 best teams in the basketball tournament?

Yeah the guy who is leaving is getting the Florida gig after only 2 seasons. BUT he also has Tulane in a great position to make the CFP. That’s a HIGH bar to maintain. There is really only one direction Tulane can go from here. How does Baker show big time programs he made Tulane better?

All Sumrall did was maintain what Fritz was doing. If Baker keeps Tulane at the same level, that will be sufficient
quote:

Tulane has gone the coordinator route and it was a disaster. Tulane views itself as an upper echelon G5 program that should compete for a conference championships with a shot at the playoffs in certain years. They do not view themselves as a program that provides “on the job training” to be a head coach and are comfortable as a head coaching stepping stone: it means their program is experiencing success

Since 1995 Tulane has hired

Bowden - Coordinator
Scelfo - OL Coach, never a coordinator anywhere

Toledo - A coordinator at the time but with HC experience

CJ - WR Coach. Never a coordinator at any level

Fritz - Longtime HC

Sumrall - HC experience

The only “learning on the job” coordinator was arguably the best coach they’ve had.

The last HC hire for Ohio State, Oregon and UGA all coordinators with 0 HC experience
quote:

just THINK Tulane has seen recent success with their current blueprint, so why deviate from it? Especially when there are guys like Napier and Huff still on the market and knowing that if the next coach doesn’t work out, Blake would more than likely still be right up the road at LSU

What’s the blueprint? Other than being successful sitting head coaches, Sumrall and Fritz have nothing in common. And Napier doesn’t fit that bill. He’s not a sitting head coach. Just got fired actually. So not that successful either.

quote:

To someone else's point, I think this is a more long-term candidate for them. He needs career rehab and won't get hired away for a while. If Baker came in and won a lot, he could be gone in 2-3 years.

I think Tulane is prepared to be replacing him in 2-3 years. They knew that would be the case with Sumrall. They’d be foolish to look for someone who’s going to stay a long time
quote:

Neither of those teams were ranked when Tulane played them. Meanwhile USF was ranked when Navy beat them. Not all P5 schools are better than G5 teams.

Nobody should give a shite about what a team is ranked when you play them, if that ranking proves to be way off at the end of the season.

The committee sees a 6 win P4 team as a good win, whether you agree or not.
quote:

The Saints somehow went from a legend in Jim Henderson calling their games to Zach Streif, then Mike Hoss. Streif was legitimately the worst play by play person i've ever heard. He wouldnt make it past the first interview for a little league pbp job if he wasn't a Saints player. Hoss is barely better. He might get the little league job.

It’s truly remarkable how bad they are and it should surprise nobody because they have no experience with it

Everytime someone loses money it a bad beat.

No.
Just shut up and change the channel
You’re out of your element

No, I don’t think we will
