Put it this way, if we knew that we were getting the same Brennan from the mizzou game , on a game in game our basis, then the competition wouldn’t be close. I’m just worried that guys gone. Although he was very efficient and comfortable in the spring hame
I really hope this doesn’t come off like I hate Myles. Cause I really don’t I appreciate him still being here and I think it’s amazing after all the adversity he still here trying to compete. And I’m glad you laid all this out game bcuz I agree he did look a lot better in that Mizzou game and the only really bad decision I remember is him trying to take on a defender but also understand cause he was still trying to prove himself to everyone.
My biggest concern is that all of this occurred 2 seasons ago. We all agree Myles isn’t the most mobile guy but you don’t have to be you just have to be able to move around the pocket and can we honestly say we feel like his pocket presence will have improved after 2 years of no action?

quote:so now we hate on kids do Whts best for them? You leave out the fact ASU has been dumpster fire since they broke all those rules at the start of Covid. When he announced he was returning in that time til he transferred they had fired more offensive coaches, brought in the worst recruiting class in the PAC-12 and name the guys he throwing to that are as good as Boutte, Nabors or Bech?
don't trust a guy who fricked over his team as badly as he did last year. Not to mention his 10 tds to 10 ints. Trust has real meaning, JD blew up any trust he had.

For me it’s JD I trust the guy with 30 starts, who was brought in a month after the staff had a chance to evaluate the qbs there and felt the need to bring them in.
Now I don’t think he’s the most talented I actually believe that’s Nuss and Howard. But for me if I’m Bk in my first game with new team, at my new school, in the dome on the Sunday night. I’m playing it safe with guy who done this before the most. Not the guy who’s going to be getting his first start and not that guy who hasn’t played in 2 years I just can’t see it

I trust Myles to start the season more than the other two. Most football fans would.
Lol you think most fans would trust a guy who hasn’t played in over 2 years bcuz of season ending injuries? Now that’s completely false
quote:But that’s not necessarily true either in the MSST game the LSU rbs had 127 yards and averaged 4.3 yds a carry. Against vandy they had 160 yards and Emery averaged almost 8 yds a carry. And against Mizz they only had 40 yds but we only ran 14 times that game.
The highlight tape is just a sample, the full story is gaudy numbers, low turnovers and a lot of points with no running game to support him.

Brother that was over 3 years and 2 surgeries ago he backup and since then it’s been more rehab then practicing…
Your talking about highlight tape though. What does the full game tape of Brennan tell you?
All just say I’m surprised that any you an factually say you trust Myles the most considering we are talking about a guy who in 6 years has about the same amount game experience as the RS freshman. And that experience came over 2 years and 2 season ending surgeries ago. One surgery in which is so experimental that if it worked they talked about naming it after him.
Myles is a nice guy who’s had a lot of bad luck. And if he’s the starter I’ll root for him just I like I would for JD and Nuss ,but honestly I don’t see him starting here. I think it’s JD and if they need a spark they’ll go to Nuss.

I also agree there’s a lot of romanticizing going on about Myles time here and how those 3 starts looked. When I remember there was very consensus feeling of disappointment among the fan base watching Myles play after finally get his chance short arm throws, look nervous and generally unsure.
We did the same thing with Max last year he won 2 games a couple of months past and that’s all everybody remembers. Not the context around those games.

Bro what are you talking about his whole arguement was factual? While you showed a highlight video of a guy who played 5 games in 6 years and said just look at this? It’s true Myles threw for a bunch of yards in those 3 games but it’s also true in those 3 starts he was throwing the ball 44 times a game with a completion percentage of 60% and one of lowest 3rd down conversion rate in the country for that time.
Yeah in the pros there’s a cap on how much you can make salary wise but you can get paid as much as you want in sponsorship. That’s basically Wht Nil is

Is it though? If LSU is in the hunt this year would y’all feel the same way?
I’ll just say for me personally it’s hard to stay engaged when your physically involved. I can understand how it could get pretty lonely on that training table…

If someone is paying him 500k for NIL then that would be how much he worth right?
So should BK have to sit out next year too? Since when have people been okay with limiting someone else earning potential? And with transfers all that happen is now athletes are like the rest of the college kids. If I study engineering and change schools I don’t have to take a year off from studying

Why should transfers have to sit a year? If any other student wants to change schools they don’t have to sit out a year before they start taking classes

What that’s not how it works he never publicly committed anywhere. Then when he signed with UGA he made a mistake and like a week later asked out. He signed with TCU and since he’s been there he’s not only been one of best players in the country but he’s been an honor roll student and a captain. He only left bcuz Patterson left.
Guy is one of the best players in CFB and if he wanted to come here I would take him in a heartbeat

I think a better comparison would’ve been Xavier Pinson. Started at Missouri last year then transferred here to a better basketball program
Why wouldn’t you want a former top qb? It’s not like Max or Nuss have done anything to lock down job and Walker is a true freshman. If Spencer Rattler comes here let him compete and the best guy wins.
For all we know getting benched was the best thing to ever happen to him and he could come back humbled and hungry ready to prove himself.

So since y’all know. Who’s going to be coaching Elias if he stays here next year?
