Just heard they were going to put (4) 40 inch pumps at alligator bayou to pump the water back out. Not sure if they are trying to save the interstate or the prisons.

Gotcha. My parents live at the end of kleinpeter. We've been estimating another 1.5 feet. 2 more feet from where it is now and they will be cutting it very close.

It's been an inch an hour there all day and just talked to a friend who is still on ridge Rd there and he confirmed still rising an inch an hour.

I'll be watching it and the neighborhood association is monitoring it also. If it slows down or changes direction I will get worried.

That ditch runs directly behind my house in stonegate. Ditch is only up an inch in a few hours. Still running pretty fast towards 621.

I get that, but the Amite @ Bayou Manchac Point has been higher than the other measurements for quite some time. I find it peculiar that the measurements @ Kleinpeter seem to "lag" for so long. At the rate it is rising there and the predicted fall at the mouth near the Amite, it could have another 2 feet to go.
That gauge is at my parents house. It lags because it is all the way on the other side of the swamp and water has to flow around the back side of kleinpeter to get to the gauge. It looks to have been about an inch an hour or less there all day.

I don't know about Somersby directly, but that area of Tiger Bend and everything to the South was underwater. Tiger Bend at Antioch was like 6-8 feet deep.
Boss lives on somersby. He got water in his house. Not sure how much though. He left and went to a hotel.

The Great Flood of 2016: Backflow Flooding Occuring (8/14/16) I'm not sure it's a breach. Every time the word breach has been used it has actually been topping the levees and roads. Not breaching This is very true. Likely just overtopping.
Definitely just overtopping. Not a breach. Friend posted a video on interact am earlier of water flowing over the road at alligator bayou.

My parents live back in Spanish lake off of ridge Rd. Still a ways to go before it gets even to 2001 levels so still a lot of water left to come into the bluff swamp area.

MW3 party problems

Trying to get my friend in a party with me, but for some reason it keeps telling him he is unable to join. Anyone else have this problem or know any solutions?

Play dead. That way the defense would be less inclined to smash your teams face in.
