We drive back home twice per year to load the freezer with seafood primarily. my wife is an amazing cook. Her gumbo is fire

Why do I not feel bad for this? Seems to me WE as citizens allowed this to happen. Seems logical that WE are the ones to pay the price to clean it up. Would I feel differently if it was me?

Maybe Americans should stop blowing money they don’t have. Hold on to that iPhone for a bit longer. Stop rolling over debt from vehicle to vehicle. Stop buying houses that are out of your price range. Stop buying $400 shoes that will sit on a shelf and collect dust. Stop “earning” degrees in basket weaving.
