I think the X talks are people who pay to give them. Which as the other poster pointed out has diluted their brand tremendously.

Easy - Al is a massive YouTube star for his DIY videos and has become the more recognizable figure. Al invites Tim on for a few videos and Tim tries to be the star, but gets killed online by the “yutes”.
