Need to refinance condo
Posted by CajunInFL on 4/17/26 at 8:40 am
Long story short, need to refinance my condo in NOLA. It was warrantable at first, but is now.
I’ve seen rates of 6.75 and 6.625.
Is there an easy way to shop for a better rate?
Thanks

Yes, My team captain sent them out a day or two ago.
Tacos like always. They were ok, the ones two years ago were great! This year and last year were ok.
The Pig Easy check in. Come by and get a boudin stuffed grilled cheese and some ice cream from Laozi (Brie and bacon confit custard with sweet and tender bruleed Anjou pears with caramel).

Sardinia and Monte Carlo

Have some friends going to Sardinia June 1-8th. We happen to be available so we jumped on the trip. The F1 race is in Monaco on June 7th. Has anyone gone to Monaco from Sardinia? Want to try to loop in Monaco while we are there.

I'm pretty sure that's close to where the Dwarves found the Balrog.
In for the free stuff!!

Funny you say that, I was at Marriott two weeks ago and tried to get change at the front desk. She informed me that they are a cashless hotel.
Long gone are the days of being able to cash a check at a hotel or make simple change. I hate that.

Nacho cheese doritos and chocolate ice cream.
Trust me, it's delicious.

I put out my three feeders this week, but haven’t seen any yet.
Easily a dozen, top out at 20.

I had 3 ties dry cleaned and 5 shirts laundered and it was $95 at Keans in Bocage.

Looking for book recommendations before I go, just to brush up on a few things.
Thanks in advance.

Lululemon boxer briefs. Pricey, but worth every penny.
re: Hogs for a Cause judging information

The judging is the only issue I have with this event. People pay to be judges and they only get a sample of 4 teams I believe. So it's not consistent, by any means.
The island is small, but does take a while to get a round due to lack of major highways. Driving can be a little difficult, but not too bad.
We've stayed at the Divi the first time we went, but have moved over to Manchebo. We've been there 8 times now and can't give it enough of a recommendation. You can enjoy the resort as an all inclusive, but you don't have to, or you can do half and half. The beaches are the best in Aruba.
There is also Bucuti and Tara next door. We've never stayed there, but it does look nice.
Recs are for dinner - Madame Janettes - It really outstanding.
There's a tiny place called the LionFish Snack and it serves Lionfish which is great. We generally eat at Manchebo for our stay.
Bring snokeling gear (or rent it). There are a number of cool beaches and the snorkeling is fantasic (Baby Beach, Mangel Halto Beach, Arashi Beach, and the natural pool)
Local beer is Balashi, they also make Chill was is a great beer, but be warned, they coming in 7oz bottles and aren't cheap. We've started going to the store across the street and getting a case and it's half the cost of the same beer at the resort.
Overall, great island, great people and extremely safe. Enjoy!

Haven't found one nearly as good as the IBM code for Hertz. That was epic back in the day.
